Waschbar — Restaurant in Potsdam

Waschbar is a great Potsdam-West location. With its unique, alien and Mexican grungy look, the atmosphere is definitely one of a kind. Plus, if you have any clothing in need of washing, you can take them with and drink a nice cold beer, while you wait. I've had the pleasure of eating their breakfast and I can say it is quite delicious. The only issue I have had with Waschbar is the amount of times the waiters have seemed so overwhelmed serving. Sometimes, I have seen only one person working at a time when the place was extremely full! It took a while to get my food, which was for me no problem at all, I just felt bad for the workers! Midway through our trip we needed a laundromat and stumbled upon this absolute gem. Waschbar is first and foremost a bar, but it also has 6 washing machines and a large dryer tucked in—so you can sip, play, and socialize while your clothes get clean.

The staff was incredibly kind and helpful, the drinks were poured perfectly, and there were even games to keep us entertained while we waited. A special shoutout to the friendly local who helped us figure out the machines—such a great experience.

A great artsy drinking place with an entry of washing and drying your clothes in the menu :-D There are four or five washing machines, each with its own name. Two dryers, 10 tables, lots of hot and cold drinks with and without alcohol, normal prives - and a great, easy-going ambient and atmosphere. People are playing board games, have a drink and a chat, some waiting for their freshly washed clothes to dry, some just having a drink and a chat.
