Steakhouse Maximilian — Restaurant in Prien am Chiemsee

Among all aspects, which are important for cafes and restaurants to be loved and appreciated by their guests, the crucial is when every person working there truly enjoys his/her work. This is exactly what you feel when you come to Maximilian Steakhouse. Beautiful authentic interior, rich menu, welcoming service. Cuisine is just amazing. Really, guys, everything we tried was so delicious! We have come there several times and tried a lot of different dishes. Our favourites were steaks, of course. Soft, juicy, these steaks were just like perfect steaks need to be. I haven't tried such tasty ones for quite a long time. Burgers - also reeeally good ones👍And apple strudel - just a must try. Really yummy 😋. I also want to mention the friendliest and the most welcoming service😊 Well done guys! And the choice of music in the restaurant is really cool for my taste. All in all, I would Love to come back to this place, if I will ever come back to Prien. Good luck and thank you...

Rude service and mediocre place. The ambience that so many mentioned, is attributed to the countless lights and glittery, partly overwhelming decor. As we entered the Restaurant, we weren't even greeted, let alone shown a table. The bored and granted, probably tired waiter, saw it fit to first answer the ringing phone, look at us without even uttering a greeting and take his time on the phone while completely ignoring us standing there. That behavior alone will make me never to visit the place again. Can't say anything about the food, because we only had a glass of wine and left immediately after. The star is for the location of the restaurant, as it is right on the shore...

Ich wollte mit meiner Frau ein neues Steak-Stammlolal aufsuchen. Hier kam das M. in Betracht. Nachdem wir uns beim Service mit unserer Reservierung vorstellten, wurden wir eher nach draussen gebeten, da eine Gruppe von ca. 25 Personen im Innenraum „auffiel“. Am Tisch angekommen, nahm eine Servicekraft unsere Bestellung auf. Einmal Flank 300gr Medium-rare mit Steakhouse-Pommes für meine Frau, einmal arg. Filet 400 medium-rare mit Ofenkartoffel sowie Tomatensuppe als Vorspeise. Wir mussten uns dreimal wiederholen, bis sie es richtig aufnahm. Die Tomatensuppe kam zügig, halbkalt, sehr schwach abgeschmeckt, nunja, eine Suppe eben. Nach über 40 min kam dann, die Gruppe musste ja zuerst mit Burgern versorgt werden, unsere Filetsteaks. Unglaublich: das Flank max medium, eher well-done, das arg Filet well-done! Meine Frau mochte nicht reklamieren und aß das Flank, ich reklamierte. Erst musste ich eine Diskussion mit einem anderen Kellner über mich ergehen lassen, dann eine erneute Disk mit der ersten Kellnerin. Als „Entschädigung“ wurde mir rin Espresso angeboten: für ein Filetsteak 59,-/ total missraten, meine Frau durfte alleine essen und dann erneute Wartezeit. Ich fragte nach dem Chef der Burger-Butze, es kam der Restaurantleiter wieder mit einem Espresso für einen derart besch…….nen Abend und Essen. Ich brach das Essen ab, musste gar mein Bier zahlen und wir verliessen die Burger-Butze.

Folgendes: mit einem derarten verprellten Kunden (Essen pro Person 100,—!!) diskutiert man nicht. Ich hätte erwartet, dass sofort beide Essen neu erstellt werden wie bestellt! Ein Espresso für einen völlig missratenen Abend ist eine bodenlose Unverschämtheit und Verhöhnung eines Kunden, ich hätte erwartet, dass die Getränke übernommen werden.

Ich kann nur dringend abraten, hier Filet zu bestellen! Für Burger gibt es bessere Ketten!
