Kartoffelkogge — Restaurant in Rostock

This was just wonderful. I can’t even tell if the best part was the food itself, being served by such a kind and helpful staff, or the fact that after so many years I could actually smell and taste classic roasted potatoes, that brought me right back to my childhood — when I wouldn’t even step outside without a potato in one pocket and matches in the other. Amazing how someone can turn a simple potato into such an unforgettable experience...

Excellent food, gigantic portions for the price, welcoming and attentive staff, plus surprisingly superior coffee (I got a cappuccino and expected the typical machine mix but it was hand pulled and quite good)

I will absolutely be back, but not for a few days since I have another 2 meals worth of leftovers...

Mein Besuch in der Kartoffelkogge war Mega! Die Vielfalt an Kartoffelgerichten, begleitet von frischen Bowls und knackigen Salaten, hat mich durchweg begeistert. (Wir haben von allem etwas Probiert)

Jedes Gericht war nicht nur geschmacklich ein Highlight, sondern auch optisch sehr ansprechend präsentiert. Die Frische und Qualität der Zutaten waren spürbar – von den kreativ belegten Kartoffeln bis zu den sorgfältig zusammengestellten Salaten, alles war perfekt abgeschmeckt.

Dieses kulinarische Erlebnis hat mich absolut überzeugt und ich freue mich schon auf meinen nächsten Besuch. Die Kartoffelkogge ist wirklich eine Empfehlung wert für alle, die Wert auf Frische, Qualität und Geschmack legen.
