China-Korea Restaurant Kimchi Gourmet — Restaurant in Sankt Augustin

It was very comforting holding a warm plate in my handing while serving my lunch. This winter makes me appreciate anything that could bring warm to my spirit. Of course the delicous foods is as well a key point to that.

The duck meat was tender and delicious. I love it. I could eat tons of them. For meat lovers, there is a grill in the centre of each tables where fresh meat could be grilled.

What to say about the crispy salad, the crunky sesame, bananas balls and the Ananas rings? They were simply succulent. However I found some of the foods such as the stir-fried cabbage and the chilli sauce very very salty. Yet those are two of my favorite foods... Otherwise I loved the politeness of the lady welcoming us a greeting us while we were...

I recently visited this Chinese restaurant for their buffet lunch. They have big enough tables to accommodate a team of 15 people. However, they have limited options for vegetarians. But the staff were friendly and helpful and made sure to refill the buffet stations regularly to ensure that everything was fresh and hot. Don't miss to try out nice variety of drinks that they offer. They accept reservations also. Sorry to say, but if you're a vegetarian, this restaurant might not be worth spending your money on. One suggestion for the restaurant is to put a proper label for vegetarian vs non vegatarian food.

Nette Athmosphäre, echtes koreanisches BBQ-Erlebnis, super Personal! Wir waren zu zweit an einem frühen Samstagabend bei Kimchi-Gourmet zu Gast. Schon im Außengastrobereich wurden wir sehr herzlich begrüßt. Die Platzzuweisung erfolgte sehr zügig und äußerst zuvorkommend. Neben einer Auswahl am 'normalen' Buffet gibt es hier auch rohe Zutaten, die man am Tischgrill selber zubereiten kann. Neben Seadood gibt es hier auch mehrere Fleischsorten. Unsere Auswahl! ;) Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Noch bevor wir von uns aus Getränke nachbestellen 'mussten', wurden wir gefragt, ob man noch ein weiteres Getränk bringen dürfe. Es gibt ein Hygienekonzept, so sind z.B. ausreichend Dosierspender mit Desinfektionsmittel vorhanden und beim Bewegen im Restaurant gibt es eine Maskenpflicht.

Alles in Allem ein sehr schöner Abend, den wir im Kimchi Gourmet sicher bald wiederholen werden, sobald sich eine Gelegenheit ergibt.

Update Juli2022: Diesmal waren wir mit sechs Personen hier essen. Dabei hat sich herausgestellt, dass der eine Grill in der Mitte des Sechsertisches ein wenig zu klein und aus für die Außenplätze zu weit vom Stuhl entfernt waren. Mit vier Personen wäre das vmtl. noch okay gewesen, mit sechs allerdings mühsam. Zudem ist es im Innenraum (natürlich) brüllend heiß, wenn an jedem Tisch ein Grill läuft. Türen öffnen und mehrere Ventilatoren im Innenraum schafften leider wenig Abhilfe. Das alles schadet dem tollen Erlebnis allerdings nicht wirklich. Für 2-4 Personen RICHTIG SUPER, bei sechs Personen herrscht ein wenig Gedränge am Grill.
