Great ambiance, great coffee, nice service.... but DO NOT GET THE OMLETTE. This was by far the strangest "omlette" I have ever had. Omlettes are supposed to be made of....eggs. And maybe some milk/cream, salt/pepper, cheese (feta, other light salty ones), and veggies. At first glance this was extremely oily looking, as if the peppers and also the omlette (after it was cooked) was put on an extraordinarily greasy grill. But then I tasted it.... this is not an omlette. It was rubbery and more like a pancake, chewy. My best guess is that it has flour in it (literally a pancake). Also, so little taste (despite some fresh herbs in it) that I had to salt and pepper it three times (normally I never touch the shakers). So strange!!! Is this to economize on eggs? If so I'd rather eat a much much smaller omlette that has 100 percent eggs (no flour or whatever tasteless rubber was mixed in there). I will go back for other items but was disappointed to only eat half (because of the heavy oil)... and I still feel like I don't need to eat anything for the rest of the day. Das Kaffee ist sehr nett (ein wenig "tantig"). Die Bedienungen sind alle nett. Ich habe dort noch nicht gesessen und gegessen, habe aber gehört, dass es gut sein soll und es sieht auch immer gut aus. Das Frühstück wird auf hübsch gestalteten Etageren gebracht und ist vielfältig. Die Hauptspeisen riechen gut. Wir haben dort jahrzehnte lang Semmeln und Brot geholt. Es ist konventionelle Ware, kein Bio. Leider waren einmal Glassplitter (!) in einer Semmel. Mein Sohn konnte zum Glück das Stück ausspucken, hat aber sehr geblutet. Natürlich erzählten wir am nächsten Tag davon und die (sehr liebe) Verkäuferin war entsetzt! Sie richtete es dem Chef und Backmeister aus. Nun haltet euch fest ... Der antwortete: Die Verkäuferinnen müssten die Wahre kontollieren 😯 Sollen die jedes Gebäck zerfleddern und uns Brösel verkaufen??!!! 🤦 Für die Frauen dort tuts mir leid, aber wir gehen da nicht mehr hin.
