MAIBACH Café — Restaurant in Stuttgart

I really regretted just knowing this café after almost a year of living in Stuttgart. I searched everywhere for a cafe that sells crepes cake, and there it was in Möhringen, and so near from where I live! (I came to know the cafe from an IG video)

So at first sight this is not like any other typical Asian restaurant / cafe, has a very minimalistic clean appearance. Actually it’s a Vietnamese restaurants that also sells cakes and coffee & lattes. Has very nice vibes for hanging out as the space is spacious and clean. It has minimal decor but for me it looks sophisticated.

So about the food.. Finally a decent pho! I like the soup and it’s really classic Vietnamese with the condiments. Next time I will go for the Banh Mi, am sure it will be delicious as well 😋

As for the cake, the perfect dessert to end the day. I always loved matcha and crepes cake, so really the perfect combination. Not too sweet, and the cream is tasty.

I definitely will go here more often....

This is a nice place, and I definitely like that it's so close to where I live. I had the spring rolls as an appetizer, which were excellent, very crisp and fresh tasting. The beef pho was my entree, and the beef itself and the toppings had a good flavor, the broth though was a tad bland, but definitely not bad at all. Overall, the pho was good, and better than others I've had in the area, just needs a tad more sriracha or hoisin. Eine wahre Bereicherung für Möhringen. Wahnsinn leckeres und authentisches Essen in lockerer Atmosphäre. Das Banh Mi mit Rind ist eine Geschmacksexplosion und schön scharf. Man kann auch über Wolt bestellen und auch abholen. Jederzeit gerne wieder. Nur schade, dass abends geschlossen ist. Jederzeit gerne wieder - toll 👌

Update 2025: Leider ist die Einrichtung etwas abgerockt und so sauber ist der Gastraum auch nicht mehr. Flecken und Haare auf den Bänken / Kissen und alter Dreck in den Ecken unterm Tisch. Speisekarten auch abgegriffen und siffig (das ist doch eigentlich das Aushängeschild eines Ladens?). Zum Glück passt das Essen und Trinken trotz dieser Schwächen noch: Die Banh Mis sind immer noch lecker und frisch, die Kuchen meist auch extrem gut. Matcha mit Kokosmilch ist auch klasse. Schade, dass man wenn etwas schief geht, nicht mehr so verständnisvoll ist. Zum Thema Kritikfähigkeit: Fehler passieren aber den Kunden dann fühlen zu lassen, dass er angeblich zu unrecht reklamiert und extra nochmals vorbeikommt anstatt gleich eine negative Rezension zu verfassen, zeugt nicht von Größe des...
