The 5 stars are for the pizza itself. The pizza was delicious, the high quality of the ingredients and workmanship made for a taste experience to be remembered. Kudos to the owner, chef and the staff. Getting this important part out of the way, let's focus also on other small details to be considered, helpful to manage expectations. The pizzeria is not located in a downtown area, instead it's in a nice neighborhood with street parking. Which may be full, depending on the time you get there. Have patience to find a parking spot. It's a small restaurant, similar to small Italian pizzerias', but not a fancy place. Typical square small tables, super useful to create the space needed by the number of expected guests. The staff was friendly, helpful and catering to your needs all through the course of the meal. The menu contains a good variety of pizza types, trying to highlight the ingredients and their provenance; with also wine choices for each pizza. But beware not, they also have beer. ;) I'd recommend a redesign of the menu in a more professional way, as it's quite a headache to read and understand. The layout of the information can be way more efficient. One improvement I hope they make before my next visit is an upgrade on the coffee. The espresso coffee quality was subpar, tasted very sour, totally not matching the Italian espresso taste. Price wise, it's on the higher end, at least from my perspective. I can accept it considering it's in a big city like Stuttgart and the pizza was really a delight for all my taste buds. Well worth making the effort to...
Read moreThis place did not disappoint! It was recommended to me by multiple people, and I will keep recommending it myself. Delicious pizza, beautifully unique flavors and combinations, and a relaxed atmosphere.
They have plenty of parking available since they are located in a residential part of Stuttgart. You can pay by card but the machine was down when we went there. I'd have loved the server to tell us that upon taking our orders. There is a Volksbank located right next to it, but it's still good to know ahead.
There is outdoor seating, which I'd prefer over sitting inside. Inside, it's quirky and nice, but you sit right next to someone and feel like you are part of your their conversation 🤣
The service was a little slow. There was only one lady serving while the place was relatively full.
Overall, the food outweighs the slow service and table situation, so I'd...
Read moreRight off the bat, the servers are very nice and i cant complain about them. The food is very expensive, ranging from overpriced Pizzas, to drinks and starters. The restaurants website gives younthe idea of this charming restaurant, however it reminds me more of a stuffed small american diner. The Pizza Bella Italia manages to be wet due to the Mozarellas greese and yet dry everwhere else and the basil cream is a far cry from a good pesto. This restaurant is the perfect example of being flashy with no substance, especially the menu reads that they have "special tomatoes, crispy onions or writing fior di latte cheese" and what not, however nothing seems to be of higher quality other than regular market items. Nothing is beyond 3 stars, however i feel slightly scammed since I could've hat the same meal in a better restaurant for...
