Pizzeria da Micci — Restaurant in Stuttgart

We made a reservation quickly on Friday evening (the hostess spoke English very well) and sat down in the 3/4 full restaurant. The children ( who are afraid of flavor) ordered a Margherita and devoured it between the two of them. My wife and I each ordered the "pizza sandwich" - the panuouzzo. I had never heard of this before, but it was absolutely fabulous. I had the ham/arugula version and my wife had the mushrooms version. I was very impressed with the fresh, light, crisp flavors of this new (to me) food. We also got a Zucchini salad from the specials menu - great flavors also with chunks of roasted Zucchini and many other vegetables and greens. Finally, we ordered Tiramisu for dessert and split it between the 4 of us - big mistake. My kids devoured over half of it and my wife and I were left with scraps! Only complaint was the drink order was botched - I received the wrong beer and my kids got apfelschorl instead of apfelsaft. Small matters when the food and service in general were so good. We all look forward to going back soon and we're happy to have found our favorite new pizza place in Robinson...

What can I say....this is one of the tastiest pizza I ve ever had, I gladly come here and I regret I can't come more often. I did come from the very start when this place offered only the choice of the three original Napolitan style pizzas which was fine with me, but I understand that they adapted to the predominately non-Italian patrons by adding various (and fresh I might add) ingredients from which to chose whilst avoiding attrocities such as ananas and other things an Italian would never dream of putting onto a pizza. Having said this, this place comes with other pizza related stuff (panuozzo), fresh salads and a simple but super tasty antipasti and recently added other things such as calzone and bruschetta. The food here is really good. They have a new concept for pizzas where you pick the base pizza and then add ingredients. It's a bit weird, as it's usually more comfortable to order a specific pizza than build your own, but you get the feeling that the pizza you get was put together by you, so it makes things taste a bit different. There's a lady that's usually there to attend to the customers and she's super nice and polite. She always remembers the names of our friends and their daughter, and greets them as if they came often. Also, she is super attentive and polite. The place does lack a bit of warmth, as it is too bright and quiet, but the pizza is good and the price is also very good, so weblike going...
