Regional and Seasonal Shopping: A wonderful statement denounces: "Regional is the first choice." Also seasonal. Sustainable cooking in itself means regionality and seasonality: Since not only the nutritional style but also the origin of the respective products affect the ecological footprint, it makes sense to favor regional and seasonal products. Regional products strengthen local agriculture and avoid emissions from transport routes. Seasonal products are sold only if they can be grown under existing climatic conditions. This avoids the use of artificial heat and thus imports from outside. Buy half a kilo of figs a year, overload them with healthy beets or eat the first fresh strawberries in the summer, much more fun!
Buy organic: Those who buy eco-friendly, most small businesses and automatically protect the environment. Organic farming is particularly resource-saving, environmentally friendly and has a much higher potential for nature conservation than conventional farming methods. Organic farming eliminates the need for pesticides, fungicides and herbicides and fertilizes them naturally. Monocultures find no place in organic farming and so the use of genetic engineering is forbidden. Of course, there are still some things that cannot be done. Whether you shop at the organic grocery store or the weekly market, organic farming is usually best supported. For example, Demeter, Naturland and Bioland are even stricter than EU organic labels.
Reduce consumption of meat, fish and animal products:
Keeping cattle is not good for the climate. The most famous example is probably the kilo of beef. Production requires 15,500 liters of water. With the water needed to make a single burger, you can shower for two months. But how does this happen? First of all, cows need to drink water - this is a minimum amount of consumption - and then feed the cows. This is true for all species as each animal needs to be reared and fed.
Most animals today are primarily sources of energy and energy, including corn and soybean. Cultivation requires huge agricultural areas, for which rainforests have been cut down, among other things. But not only that, but also agricultural land is completely useless after several years for further agricultural use. In addition, corn and soy are often imported from South America, where they are grown using genetically modified seeds. Transport routes, therefore, have a significant impact on our environment, farm food, slaughter cows and meat must reach the consumer.
Responsible consumption of meat, fish and animal products is very important for a climate-friendly diet. The version could have been world-hungry. When using animal products, attention should be paid to organic quality and regionality.
Use of fresh produce: Processed products have some similarities. On the one hand, it is often used in conjunction with CO2, on the other. Here it is also worth buying fresh food at the health food store or the weekly market. Some fresh products are great for freezing. And if you have delicious frozen fruit in the dead of winter, you can feel at home in the summer.

Read moreReally bad Client attention. The woman (the one from Thailand who i think is the owner) is very bad at communicating with her clients (and the german language is very poorly as well as the english). i went today with a friend of mine and we ask for a soup and a menu of the day and in total it was 14.40 euro and then she started to scream at my friend claiming for more money and my friend didn't understand the situation (me neither because i was looking at the beverages), so she kept on giving her money and told her, please count the money (of course in german) but this woman didn't count the money and kept it and put it in the register. Afterwards my friend came to me and told me: she took the whole money, i don't understand i gave her 20.40 euro and she didn't give me change. So i came to the counter and told her what the problem was and she almost threw the money at us and only gave us 15 euro back and screamed : go away of my place and some more stuff in her language. i told her to be respectful otherwise i would call the police but the woman was out of control so my friend approached me and told me that is was better to leave because she was in shock (as she suffer from heart problems). To all the people going to that Restaurant i would encourage NOT TOO! it was really unfair the treat that was given to us, specially when we were all the time very friendly and kind. it is shamed that owners of restaurants treat their...
Read moreOverpriced food with small portion The food here is NOT Thai authentic. Pad Thai is so bland and not authentic like the one in Thailand. Since the chef woman thinks all Germans here don’t know Thai food well enough, she just cooks some dishes and makes them up as Thai foods. and all Thai dishes there are too salty. No wonder why no Thai people eat there! The shop looks clean outside but the inside is quite dirty. Sometimes the utensils and dishes have some dirty stain on. That woman chef is always rude esp to the customers cannot speak and understand German despite her German is so broken and poor. And always looks down on the customers. Sometimes she touched some parts of her body and then she touched the food sold there later. So unsanitary! The takeaway box is overpriced including Thai ingredients sold...
