Bistro Golden Dragon — Restaurant in Trier

Never encountered such impoliteness from a waitress elsewhere and the Covid regulations are not a reason to be unfriendly to people. We were passing by the region of Trier, found this restaurant on Google, and drove 20km to it. My 4 years old daughter needed to go to the restroom when we arrived. We went in, and I told the waitress that we would like to eat there, but the little girl needs to visit the restroom first. She gave such a face, and said "you need to eat here to use the restroom." I told her yes, that's our plan. She accepted it so unwillingly. Afterwards we sat down, she asked for the vaccination QR code, I told her my phone screen was broken, but I took a recent test, and showed her the paper. My husband showed his QR Code. She shouted something in Thai or Vietnamese to someone inside then said we can't eat there. We decided then it was best to leave and while we were leaving she said that we need to pay €1.- each for using their toilet. We said ok, we will just Pin the money. Wenn man auf der Suche nach einem besonderen Ort zum Essen in Trier ist, führt kein Weg am Golden Dragon Bistro vorbei. Selten habe ich ein Restaurant erlebt, das mich auf ganzer Linie so begeistert hat – von der Qualität des Essens bis hin zur Herzlichkeit des gesamten Teams.

Schon beim Betreten des Bistros fühlt man sich direkt willkommen. Die Atmosphäre ist warm und einladend, die Einrichtung stilvoll, aber dennoch gemütlich. Man merkt sofort: Hier wird großer Wert darauf gelegt, dass sich die Gäste wohlfühlen. Die Bedienung ist außergewöhnlich freundlich, aufmerksam und zuvorkommend, ohne dabei aufdringlich zu sein. Es entsteht das Gefühl, als wäre man bei guten Freunden zu Besuch – eine Seltenheit in der heutigen Gastronomie.

Das absolute Highlight ist jedoch das Essen. Die Speisen sind nicht nur optisch ein Genuss, sondern überzeugen vor allem durch ihre Frische und den authentischen Geschmack. Jedes Gericht wird mit viel Liebe zum Detail zubereitet und schmeckt einfach fantastisch. Die Zutaten sind hochwertig, alles ist perfekt abgeschmeckt und man merkt, dass hier echte Profis am Werk sind, die ihre Leidenschaft für gutes Essen leben. Besonders zu empfehlen sind die frisch zubereiteten Spezialitäten des Hauses da ist für jeden Geschmack etwas dabei.

Was mir besonders gefallen hat, ist, dass man sich hier Zeit nimmt. Es geht nicht darum, die Gäste schnell abzufertigen, sondern ihnen einen schönen Abend zu bereiten. Man spürt die Liebe zur asiatischen Küche in jedem Bissen, und das in einer Qualität, die man sonst nur selten findet.

Das Golden Dragon Bistro in Trier ist mehr als nur ein Restaurant – es ist ein Ort, an dem Gastfreundschaft und Genuss im Mittelpunkt stehen. Ich komme definitiv wieder und kann jedem nur empfehlen, es selbst auszuprobieren. Wer einmal hier gegessen hat, wird garantiert nicht das letzte Mal dort...
