Fuji Sushi Bar — Restaurant in Trier

We had lunch at this restaurant without knowing it's an "all you can eat"; the restaurant has two doors and there was no mention of this at the entrance we took nor anywhere at the sushi belt, and the waitress did not mention anything either when she greeted us and took our drinks order. We found out when we asked to pay and the waitress (or owner?) thought it was us who should have asked about this. Apart from this, mediocre quality sushi and very limited selection, what looked like raw tuna had such an unusual color that we didn't take any, and some of the food (sushi and other) that was going around did not look freshly made. And last but not least is questionable hygiene; the entrance door to the bathrooms (visible in the dining area) shined with greese and stains in day light and people would just pop in the restaurant to use the bathroom without talking to anyone (2 during our short lunch) and this during Corona time! I just cannot make any sense of the positive reviews posted for this place online and felt compelled to share our experience. Wow...

NOCH NIE NIE NIE SO SCHLECHTEN SUSHI GELIEFERT BEKOMMEN! UND ICH BIN NICHT MIMIMI!! Also ich bin zutiefst enttäuscht von der Lieferung, dem Essen und alles. Habe für 40€ Sushi bestellt (Party 1, Ika und Ikura), Lieferung in die Firma mit paar auf meinen Geburtstag anzustoßen. Erst kam die Bestellung 45 Minuten später als angekündigt, und kostete auch noch 5€ extra, obwohl es von Trier nach Trierweiler keine Weltreise ist! 13:52 sollte es da sein. Angekommen ist es um 14:35. Dann sind die Sushi wirklich, aber wirklich nicht gut. Zum Teil ungenießbar und eine Beleidigung es Sushi zu nennen. Die Maki: knüppelhart, trocken, geschmacklos wie man sie abgepackt aus dem Discounter kennt. Schmeckt nur nach Alge, alle schmeckten gleich, egal ob Gurke, Avocado, Lachs. Futomaki: ungenießbar. Hab mit den Kollegen einen Spaß gemacht und ihn gegen die Wand geschmissen...Er kam zurück wie ein Flummi und war noch ganz. Nur die 3 Stück Paprika sind rausgefallen. Den Fisch musste man suchen. Ich hatte den Eindruck, die Reste vom Mittagsbuffet draufgepackt bekommen zu haben. Eine Beleidigung. Ich bin unfassbar enttäuscht weil es teuer war! So lieblos hergerichtet, nicht mal ein behälter für Sojasoße : ürbrigens 4 kleine billige Tütchen zum aufreißen, nicht ansatzweise ausreichend für die Menge und man versaut sich komplett. Die Nigiri: 90% Reisy durch den Thunfisch konnt ich fast durch kucken Aal-Sushi: Trocken und ohne braune Soße drauf! EKELHAFT! Fast alles landete leider in den Müll, weil es einfach nicht gut war. Nicht mal der Hunger hat es reingetrieben! Habe den Lachs ohne den Reis gegessen, und da war die Qualität auch schlecht. Sehr sehr fettig. Das war viel Geld für so eine Enttäuschung ! Einzig leckere waren die mit Calamari (IKA) und die mit Lachseier (Ikura). Ich schreibe NIE negative Bewertungen, aber das da war einfach zu schlecht. Präsentation NULL. Plastikteller und Frischhaltefolie drauf! Und 2 Glückskekse?? Ich hab Sushi bestellt! Keine Pekingente! Sorry aber NEIN. NEIN NEIN NEIN Warum nicht nur 1 Stern bei Lieferung: Weil ich die Verkehrslage nicht kannte. Aber eine Entschuldigung, ein Anruf wäre das MINDESTE gewesen. I was in the area with the family and we decided to have sushi, we found this place 5 minutes walking distance. We went there without reservation, and the waiter said that without reservation i cannot give you a seat on the train, so we sat on a table and we started getting the dishes from the train. I am giving three stars for the service because there were empty seats on the train that were not filled when we left (1 hour later). For the food, there is a great variety of sushi and other seafood (hot). I really liked everything, especially some of the sweets.
