Looking for a bad meal with a side of crazyness and aggression - then you are right here! The drinks came fast, we ordered the food after that. There was only one vegetarian dish and the waiter seemed not so pleased when we asked this dish without the cream, as we are vegan. After that, the food came with the wrong order, the waiter claimed it was my fault - even though all other people on the table understood what I ordered. The bread payed with the dishes came with one missing portion (that we ordered and paid extra!) , and it was also our fault. At the time to pay, we didn't want to pay this missing portion and the waiter became crazy, hit the table with his fist and a shelf with his head, shouted at us to pay and to leave. Very unprofessional family business. We had to wait ages for the young waiter to lay out our table eventhough the restaurant wasn't full. The other waiter kept mixing up our orders and wasn't very friendly. The food was quick and the variety of dishes they offered was good though. When the food was served, they presented it to us in a plastic cover and it tasted very cheap. Very similar to bought microwaved food from an Aldi. When some of us didn't finish their dishes the older waiter made a big fuss and had to show us how disappointed he was... I mean, come on!?...

From the outside this looked an authentic half-timbered ‘Fachwerk’ building but the inside was very 1960s unfortunately! Nevertheless, the rooms were quite well-appointed and had lovely views back onto the main square of the town. Our front room was large and very cheap at only 70 euros for the double.
