Mr. Bi — Restaurant in Verwaltungsgemeinschaft Waldshut-Tiengen

It was completely a coincidence that we found this place called Mr.Bi. We were just hungry and I checked on maps what Asian restaurant was the closest. Actually the only on that was open was this one so it was a easy decision with a huge outcome. From the first glance into the restaurant I fell in love with the interior. Even though the lady was completely in stress I was hoping she can offer us a table. Indeed we got a table for 4 and ordered our first time Vietnamese food experience. I think it was the first time in a very long time that I got so much surprised in a positive way. The taste of the Pho soup was beyond any soup I have tasted in the Asian cuisine. It was so well spiced and the taste elwas so delicious, I could literally feel how it was making addicted while eating. We also ordered rice band noodles once with fried chicken and once with crispy chicken. OMG, what a great taste. I think the one with the crispy chicken was valled Udon. A must try food if you like Asian food. The staff was very speedy and helpful even though in stress 🙂 but all was good and we will definitely go again. Oh this place is also offering a variety of bubble tea tastes and has a large selection on Sushi. Great place to try...

We went to this place because the reviews were just good and the food look very delicious. The food was okey but service was horrible. There was one I think some Eastern European looking waitresses who had absolutely no desire to work and she was irritated by every order we did. She just threw the food at us at the end and never even came to check on us even though the resturant was pretty much empty. I was asking questions about the food because we never had this cuisine before but she didn’t want to explain us and she said let me know when you decide what to oder then I will come. Then she came after 25 mins. I don’t know if we were the only one who were treated this way or she just didn’t like us for whatever reasons. But en ever coming again and we will not suggest this to anyone in our friends and family. I wish we had another waiter so may be we could have had a better time there. P.S. Aufgrund der guten Rezessionen haben wir das Restaurant besucht. So ganz verstehe ich die vielen guten Bewertungen nicht. Vorweg- ich bin schon viel in Asien gereist, darunter auch Vietnam. Aber vielleicht hatte ich nur Pech mit der Auswahl des Gerichtes und die Zuteilung des Servicepersonals. Die Suppe war nicht annähernd das, was man in Vietnam bekommt. Lieblose, fade Pho mit einer einer Portion Frühlingszwiebeln und wenigen Scheiben Hühnchen. Die vegetarische Frühlingsrolle war ganz ok. Aber was unterirdisch war, ist die Bedienung. Sie bestand lauthals darauf , dass man ihr die Nummer der Speise sagt, nicht den Namen des Gerichts. Nun, ich frage mich, wenn jemand im Service so unflexibel ist, und nicht die Gerichte mit der Nummer kombinieren kann, dann habe ich meine Zweifel. Aber es gab kein Ausweichen, um meine Bestellung aufzugeben. Gesagt, getan - was ist natürlich passiert, wohl bemerkt, es ist ziemlich schummrig im Keller, habe ich die falsche Nummer gesagt. Da war das nächste lautstarke Fiasko vorprogrammiert. “Sehen Sie, das passiert, wenn man zur Nummer wird” , sagte ich. Wieder lautstarke Diskussion, ich hätte diese Nummer gesagt, das habe ich, ja, aber irrtümlich ! Nach einem unfreundlichen Wortwechsel, wurde das Gericht ausgetauscht. Ich möchte nicht unfair sein, aber das geht wirklich nicht, dass selbst andere Tische die Diskussion mitbekommen. Ambiente: der rote Teppich der in den Keller führt hat auch schon bessere Zeiten gesehen. Das Ambiente entspricht nicht meinem Geschmack, aber das liegt im Auge des Betrachters. Auch das Personal scheint unter ihrer Herrschaft zu leiden - leider ist sie nicht die Chefin ! Das war jetzt eine ausführliche Wertung - aber das musste jetzt sein....
