We are 3 Ukrainian girls who wanted to celebrate St.Paddy's day in Domhan this evening. When we came at 19.00 (the Pub was opening at 18, ans at 19 the music was going to start), there was a special person at the entrance who said that we cannot come in because the place was "too crowded". Through the windows we saw that the place was not crowded. And it was definitely less crowded than on the 8 of March, when they hosted an Irish Session. (???) On the 8 of March it was too crowded!!! We were unpleasantly surprised, because we came across the city for celebration. Well, we went for a pizza in the neighborhood and returned at 20.00 to see if they would let us in. The same guy said "it was too crowded". It was not, we saw the people through the Windows. This was very unpleasant, the weather was cold and we didn't come earlier because we needed to find a parking space, and also dome roads in Wuppertal was blocked. We don't recommend this place to anyone. Better to pay for a ticket and go to a nice place to Düsseldorf or...

Pleasant, old-timey styling within a decently sized room, fit for about 40 people, complemented by an all-round friendly and engaged staff. Always a relaxing atmosphere; close to never have I seen a person that had one too many and acted rambunctiously.
The pub-grub is fit for all nutritional orientations (vegan also) and the food is simply just heartwarming and fairly priced. I'd rather eat there than at any Fast-Food or the alike.
For enjoyers of beer and whisky alike, this place is an oasis of variety. (Mind you, whiskey drinkers: here is something for every taste)
Regular events keep the pub lively and cheerful, even if a wee bit crowded during the shows.
The pub is tidy and clean without exception.
PS: Also an alcoholic friendly pub. No one will pressure you to drink, ridicule you for drinking tea or cola, and the pub also offers at least 4 alcohol free beers to choose from.

The pints were great, large screen for the Rugby World Cup, lovely area with cobblestones on the floor, and a quiet street next door so our little one could run around in between Ireland's Tries.
Thank you, we...
