So for some reasons a male waiter at this restaurant served my friend incorrect food, combining it with a different dish without my friend’s permission not thinking about her allergies because her original order wasn't substantial enough. He falsely claimed it was what my colleague ordered. Despite my friend sending it back, the same mistake happened again, requiring multiple returns. The waiter insisted my friend consume the wrongly prepared food or he(waiter) faces charges for the spoiled dishes.

Another incident involved a friend being overcharged by the same waiter, who provided his personal mobile money number. When we sought clarification on the bill, the same waiter mumbled and started stammering. The overall lack of urgency and repeated errors marred the...

I wanted to eat something with soup in the evening so settled on them. Well, the food was tasty though just that all soups were free except the okro stew which you have to buy. I ordered for banku and groundnut and it was like home made, the soup was very thick and delicious but spicy 🌶️ 🥵 and the waiter added ginger without confirming if I wanted extra spicy 🙆🏾‍♀️Proteins are also overly priced e.g half piece of fresh salmon is ghc30. I don’t know if it was because I visited the eatery in the evening, but we were virtually dining with mosquitoes 🫢. I’m sure the place should be fine during the day . When I called, they said they close at 7pm, I got there around 6pm and left around 8pm so their timing is quite flexible 😍👍🏽 I would recommend the place for...

We were looking for some banku and okro stew to eat, and after trying several other restaurants, we found some at Asanka Local International.

Having patronised another Asanka branch elsewhere previously, I knew their food was to my liking.

As seems to be the theme, the decor had pictures of past African leaders and art.

The waiter was very friendly and efficient, and the food was very tasty and a good portion size. They did not have the drinks we originally wanted, but we managed to get alternatives.

Asanka has a great variety of dishes, and the food did not disappoint. I would definitely recommend them for flavourful...

I used to really like this place, the food. I still never got why i am forced to buy a certain number of Meat or fish but the food was good so i didn't mind, even with their pricing. The quality of the food did depreciate over time in my opinion. On one faithful afternoon after being hungry for hours, I decide to get me some fufu with peanut soup but instead all i got was this bowl of peanut flavored oil. Honestly all i could eat was the fish and had to throw the fufu away. Haven't been there since.
