Moka's Spintex — Restaurant in Accra

On 05/31/25, I decided to patronize their services during the evening and I got the shock of my life. I visited the place with my girlfriend, and while our waitress provided an impeccable service, the overall experience was disappointing. Shortly after we were seated, a tall Lebanese male — whom I believe to be the manager — approached us directly and told us that if we weren't ordering more than 150 GHS, we couldn't remain in that area. Now I was a bit baffled as was it their policy or was it because there was an ongoing football game? The waitress had to inform him we had already ordered something more than that. It felt like we were being profiled, as no one else around us seemed to be approached in the same way. To make matters worse, the place is an enclosed area with people smoking, and there was even a child present, which raised further concerns about the establishment's policies and standards. The interaction left both of us feeling uncomfortable and unwelcome, and I believe it warrants further...

First time trying Moka's. had order delivered. The fries were just WOW. That's literally what I said when I casually stuck a few pieces in my mouth. Every single piece was consistently nice, golden and a different kind of crisp on the outside with a light fluffy interior. I prefer not to have seasoning on fries but whatever seasoning they tossed on there was just right cuz sheesh!

And the CRISPY CHICKEN SUB! Scrumptious! The flavors! Moka's PRICEY!

Anyway, I do hope they are consistent. It was too good to be true so I'll be back (to see sthg😂).

UPDATING MY REVIEW tried Moka's a second time today and I hate to say -- they're also inconsistent . Fries not the best. Chicken strips dry and tough. What I had wasn't worth the money...

Their menu is not very extensive. I went with a friend and we ordered their fries, chicken shawarma, jollof and half chicken. The stew that accompanied the jollof was quite spicy. The chicken was as a bit dry. Their shawarma was tasty and their fries were crunchy.
