NSUOMNAM SEAFOOD AND FISH RESTAURANT — Restaurant in Accra

I am definitely coming back here for some more great food! We were warmly welcomed by the whole waiting staff. The restaurant is an open big space, big windows, bright if you go during the day. We started off with the grilled mussels, the ostrich and the fish salad. I had never tasted ostrich prior to this and it was tasty. Those grilled mussels tasted fresh and sumptuous. We were hoping for more fish pieces in the salad but it was equally tasty. For mains we had the oxtail and sweet potato mash, as well as the surf & turf with kelewele. The oxtail sauce was so good and the protein itself fell off the bone. Now that sweet potato mash was everything! It was creamy, smooth and the addition of the crispy coconut added crisp and texture. The combination of the sweet potato mash and oxtail+sauce created a pleasant explosion on the palate. The sauce/jus around the surf & turf plate was tasty. However, I was expecting a generous portion size for the price. The kelewele was on point. The cocktails we had: detox, sobolita, sibisiwa (I hope I got that right) tasted good. This is an artistically pleasing restaurant. It’s so beautiful and the service is a 10/10 for me right from the entrance of the restaurant till you sit down you are met with excellent service. You are treated with respect and kindness, with this kind of service I wouldn’t mind paying a service charge and offering a tip as well. Now to the food, I was disappointed,maybe it’s because I expected more but I didn’t enjoy it like I thought I would. I preferred only the starters but to the main meal I didn’t enjoy it at all. My rating for the food would be a 5/10 that’s because I even enjoyed the starter. This is not only from my point of view but from my date as well. She equally didn’t enjoy her meals even with the starters. The cocktail was nice though and I wouldn’t mind visiting again just for cocktails and their excellent service. They have an outdoor and Indoor setting as well as a huge parking space unlike most restaurants. I would love to hear from people who have visited this restaurant. I recently had the pleasure of dining at NsuomNam, an enchanting seafood restaurant located in Accra. The interior is elegantly designed with nautical inspired accents, evoking a sense of tranquility and relaxation. And let’s not forget about the exterior! I must highlight the wonderful atmosphere offered by the patio area and bar. Tastefully adorned with lush greenery, that perfectly complements the coastal themed restaurant. They provide a picturesque setting to enjoy delicious food and drinks. Truly beautiful! 👌🏽 They offer a variety of seafood options that are sure to satisfy even the most discerning palates. I opted for the Red Snapper which was quite tasty. 🤤 The prices at Nsuomnam are reasonable considering the quality of the ingredients and the overall experience.
