Remvi is a cozy restaurant that promises a delightful dining experience, but our recent visit left us with mixed feelings due to some critical details.

The highlight of our meal was the spaghetti ai frutti di mare. Cooked perfectly al dente, the dish had the potential to be outstanding. However, the spaghetti arrived unusually hot, making it difficult to enjoy immediately. Curious about this, I asked the waiter how the dish was prepared and discovered that the pasta is precooked and then reheated in the pan.

This method, unfortunately, results in the pasta taking too long to cool to a comfortable eating temperature. Such a small yet significant detail can greatly affect the dining experience and, in this case, detracted from the overall enjoyment of an otherwise well-prepared dish.

My wife and i are stopping in Poros and having a trip out to Skala, we looked on trip advisor for a late breakfast venue, Remvi came up, so we headed there. Greeted warmly by the manager ( i think, after overhearing him, meet some old 'english' friends whom he recognised) we felt at ease and looked through the menu. My wife chose french toast- fruit & syrup ( nl photo sorry) and i opted for the Waffle- fruit & Banana ice cream & syrup, well this was far better than the English breafast i was going to have as we set off.
