We visited The Pines several times during our holiday, and every visit was a highlight. The food was outstanding – fresh, full of flavor, and beautifully cooked. From grilled meats and creamy sauces to crisp fries, roasted vegetables, and especially the fabulous breakfasts, everything was consistently delicious.

The setting is relaxed and charming, with a lovely atmosphere that made every meal feel special. Whether starting the day with a perfect breakfast or enjoying a relaxed dinner in the evening breeze, The Pines never disappointed.

What truly made our experience unforgettable was Vis, the most wonderful waiter we’ve ever met. Warm, friendly, and always attentive, he made us feel completely at home. His hospitality added so much joy to our holiday – we looked forward to seeing him as much as the food!

The food was authentic and absolutely beautiful, no complaints there. Unfortunately the service ruined the experience.

Our food order was taken but we weren’t asked about drinks. It took another 20 minutes before anyone came over. I got the waiter’s attention several times during that wait but was still ignored. I also tried to add to our food order by going inside and was told to go back out and wait.

By the time drinks arrived, the visit had already gone downhill. On paying, I was asked for a tip. I explained the service was poor and not what I expected. I still left 5€ for the kitchen staff because the food was excellent, but not for front of house.

Side note for taller guests: I’m 6ft 2 and the chairs were uncomfortable. They sat too low and pushed my knees up awkwardly.
