Martinis Kitchen — Restaurant in Athens

Greek cooked meal becomes a must în Athens after visiting various fish, seafood and meat taverns and Martinis Kitchen (very well known among the locals) could be a choice in this respect taking into account the quality of food, the cleanliness (more than ok, the comments saying the opposite are not real at all), the moderate prices and the location (Patission Boulevard, goes to Syntagma Sq.). Great dishes made with eggplant (paputzakis,mousaka), spinach (spanakopita), lamb, various salads, good wine and coffee...Nothing pretentious, a good dining experience it's...

Nice traditional greek food. Okey portions. It is located in Kato patisia and has a nice Place with plants outside where you can eat. Gyros is nice! And pita bread also. Next to Martinis, there is a really big church called , Agios Loukas. It is a really important and beautiful architectural structure. If you are religious you could pray or live the orthodox ceremonial experience. Patisia is really near to the center of Athens and there are a lot public transport choices. Excellent old style tavern in the centre, an oasis. Make sure you ask them to seat you near a fan if you sit outside, there is shade but it can get hot if it isn't breezy. And indoors they don't turn on the AC. Always go and check out the "mageirefta" (stuff they prepared earlier, usually traditional Greek food and excellent)

Also bear in mind they have that system where a different waiter does the drinks and another the food orders (in case you are in a hurry tell them from the start)
