Tsibi-tsibi — Restaurant in Athens

Bad and abusive behaviour of the owner towards the employees! It doesn't worth supporting this business at all.

I was having a coffee at Tsibi Tsibi and there was a guy sitting at the edge of the bar, talking on his phone looking at something on his tablet, like working. I got there very early and the place was not busy at all. Then the owner came and in a rude way, demanded the guy to give him his attention, completely ignoring the fact that he was busy, and told him "pal can you move the end of the bar because you are occupying a lot of space", apparently blocking the potential clients from sitting by the bar (place was empty). His tone was loud and not welcoming. The guy changed his seat.

But then, I heard the owner talking very badly to the ladies working there demanding never to allow anyone to sit alone at the bar's corner. His way was appalling, horrific, so much that no one could stop looking at him and the poor waitresses. They guy couldn't stand it and asked to him to stop because there was no point to say such words. Then the owner told him, shouting all over the place : "I am the owner and I speak to my staff the way I like."

"What I am? Am I a customer? " The guy responded

"I do not want you as a customer. Customers do not tell me how to speak to my girls. If you do not like it, leave"

I visited this place many times for coffee and drinks until we went a company of 3 people and 2 baby carriers. Although the cafe was empty, the manager came out and told us in a very rude manner that we cannot sit because the carriers occupy all the seats (it was not true). The waitress felt really embarrassed with her manager's rude and unprofessional behavior and tried to find us another place to sit. Of course, we left immediately and we will never visit it again. There are plenty of cafes in Fokionos Negri that welcome and respect...

Ωραιο μαγαζί στην Φωκίωνος Νέγρη που από μόνος του ο πεζόδρομος είναι μια όαση στο σημείο όπου βρίσκεται. Το μαγαζί είναι συμπαθητικό, δεν μας έφεραν κατάλογο γιατί παραγγείλαμε αμέσως, έτσι δεν γνωρίζουμε περισσότερα για τιμές. Οι διπλοί ελληνικοί ήταν στο μπρίκι όμως η αλήθεια είναι τόσο το εν λόγω όσο και τα περισσότερα μαγαζιά του πεζοδρομου ίσως να ξανασκεφτούν την τιμή του καφέ διότι ναι μεν ο δρόμος είναι κεντρικός πολυσύχναστος κλπ όμως ένας καφές ελληνικος που κοστίζει 3€ θα το έλεγε κάποιος και τσιμπημένο με δεδομένο την γενική οικονομική κατάσταση. Βέβαια αυτό είναι η πολιτική που ακολουθεί το κάθε μαγαζί οπότε ας επανέλθω στο βασικό που είναι η εντύπωση μου. Το μαγαζί είναι πανέμορφο τόσο εσωτερικά όσο και εξωτερικά. Καθαρές τουαλέτες και γρήγορη εξυπηρέτηση. Το κακό με το τσιγάρο στο εσωτερικό μάλλον έχει παραγίνει και ίσως δεν ενδείκνυνται για χαλαρές χειμωνιάτικες βραδιές, γιατί αν και καθόμασταν έξω, όταν χρειάστηκε να μπω για να πάω τουαλέτα μια διάχυτη μυρωδιά νικοτίνης υπήρχε παντού λες και είχαν ποτίσει οι τοίχοι, καθόλου ασυνήθιστο βέβαια φαινόμενο για ελληνικό καφέ. Οι μη καπνιστές λοιπόν χαρείτε ένα πανέμορφο μαγαζί με θέα τον πεζόδρομο και την κίνηση του τις ημέρες με καλοκαιρία οι δε καπνιστές χαρείτε και τον εξωτερικό αλλά και τον ωραία διακοσμημένο εσωτερικό χώρο...
