Orfeas live bar — Restaurant in Athens

The bar is very cozy and well decorated, and the staff is very helpful. The problem of this bar lies in their policies.

We booked a stand-up show there. There was no price anywhere in our ticket, only the mention of a minimum order of 6 euros/person, so we assumed we just had to order. Turns out, the stand up show costed an extra 10 euros. I have no problem with this price, but they should have informed us.

The issues don't stop there. The tickets were not numbered, so we arrived early to get good seats, only to find out that they had put our names on the table furthest from the stage with limited visibility. We arrived first only to sit in the back and watch the empty tables in front of us get filled. We were at no point asked where we wanted to sit, not when we booked the show and not when we arrived, but, apparently, it was arranged for us.

And then, the cherry on top: There was bottled water on our table that we hadn't ordered. It said it cost 2 euros so, being 2 people, we assumed we had to order drinks that cost at least another 10 euros, considering the minimum 6 euros/person order. We ordered drinks that cost 11 euros and were charged 12 euros instead, because, apparently, the bottled water that ''goes with the table'' doesn't count toward the minimum order.

ALL of this would have been okay if we were informed about it beforehand. But no one had informed us about anything. And this is the problem, they trick you while booking and you end up paying them way more than you expect! And the bottled water (that was forced on us) not counting towards the minimum order/person is seriously one of the pettiest things ever.

It is such a shame, because the stand up show was very good and our night was spoiled by the feeling that we were taken advantage of. I'd never go there again, even if my favourite comedians appear on the scene. A really cool classic yet modern and cozy and friendly bar with a perfect music scene and atmosphere. Worth the small price of the ticket to enter the Music Events and support the local artists. The pedestrian Adria of fokionos Negri is really fresh friendly without cars making noise and with some trees and Nature. We book a table 1,5 month ago for a stand up that will took place in the bar, the table that give us is the last table and we can not see anything neither hear the stand up, when we ask how is this possible they told us to look at a paper where they have their reservation , we see that we are in the middle of the list but they keep told us that the table is the one further...
