Ψαροταβέρνα Εστιατόριο Γλάρος — Restaurant in Dion - Olympos Municipality

Unfortunately I have to leave this review - as for the good stuff, the quality of the food was excellent, and the location is great.

Now, on the bad side. The waitress said there is a fish of the day (no price on the menu) and she showed me the fish. It was a 1 kilo fish, and she said it was 19€, which is a decent price. The fish tasted nice, just like everything else.

So, I was VERY surprised when I got the bill and the fish said 90€. I asked the waitress, and she said she told me it was 90.

It was a sea bream… not lobster, not tuna, just a sea bream. Nowhere in Europe would this fish cost 90 euros for gods sake, obviously this was done intentionally. The standard price for this fish is about 20 euros/kilo.

Don’t try to tell me I didn’t understand. English is my mother tongue, if your staff cannot speak English well enough to clearly say “90”, tell them to confirm the price in writing.

If you do come here, just order items with prices listed, or they will try to take advantage of you. If this didn’t happen, I would love to go again because like I said the food was delicious, but I would rather spend my money at a more...

we got there first and our order wasn’t taken first, so that's okay. However there were 2 of us, the first course served very quickly and good. We had to order 2 Pepsi which arrived 15 minutes after the first course! 30 MINUTES after ordering the second dish has arrived. The view is really great from here. The food also really good and is defenetly something for the eyes as well - see the photos. The waiter was really young but his english was quite good. The menu is also in english. The prices are defenetly acceptable. Just take care they have menus with new and old prices (price difference around 1 1/2 euros). We are definitely coming back - for the view the food...
