Ampelos (Vine) Tavern — Restaurant in Kassandra Municipality

An excellent small restaurant in the middle of this main town. The restaurant is family Owen and we were served by the owners dauiwho had excellent English.

The menu offers a range of greek dishes at reasonable prices. Quality and portion sizes are good.

The walls are decorated with art and jewellery made by the owner.

Beautiful traditional taverna just off the main square in Paliouri. At Ampelos it’s all about the simple pleasures, great quality of produce and even better service. We’ve been visiting every time we’re in the area and have enjoyed fresh salads and super satisfying meals. The taverna is run by a Greek-Austrian couple, and their daughters work in service. Delicious homemade food and warm hospitality. Family run tavern who cook amazing national dishes and can cater for all diets - I am vegan and gluten free and eating dinner here was a breeze.
