I had the worst experience in this restaurant. This is very crowded place and the waiters are very rude, however the runners worked really hard and they were polite and friendly. We are guests from Macedonia and the waiter who got to serve us questioned us where are we from so we told him Macedoania and he responded with smile like making joke you mean North Macedonia. I really think that was unnecessary to say, despite all the conflict between our country and Greece i was a guest who wanted to eat and pay for it and nothing else. He is the writer and he must do his job and mind his own busines. With that attitude from the waiter i know anyone who will read my comment and it's from Macedonia will not sit there ever. The food was okay, the prices were a little to much and the worst thing they bought us bread and some garlic butter and water like it's on the house and thay charged us for it. I was in shok because i traveled in many countries and they bring to the table the same and it's on the house. And the last thing our bill was 48.5 euros and i give him 50, and i waited 30 minutes for the change. I didn't want to tip anyone. Awful experience,...
Read moreThe food here was very poor, especially given that after reading all the good reviews we were expecting something very good. The chicken souvlaki had no discernible flavour, and it came with one slice of lettuce and a lemon. I think even the stray cats might have turned their noses up. We were expecting it to be well seasoned and maybe come with some tzatziki. It seemed to be to be just plain chicken chucked on the grill. The chips were done nicely however. The rice it was supposed to come with never turned up. The scallops main dish was literally four scallops and nothing else. Although they tasted nice they were slightly overdone. For 18 Euros it was a disappointing dish. The only interesting part of the meal was the desert which is strange as it was free. And when I say interesting I don’t mean it was particularly good - just that it actually had some flavour to it and had obviously undergone some sort of preparation which was a nice surprise at the end of the meal. The service was friendly but slow. Given the abundance of good food in the area I would give this...
Read moreNot recommended. We ordered at the restaurant being practically empty. Everything was served fast, except for one main meal which was probably simply forgotten. After hints and complains the staff tried to convince us that the souvlaki needs especially long to be prepared, we are talking here about more than 40 minutes we were waiting for it while it had been ordered together with everything else which was served very fast as expected in an empty restaurant. No apologies, no compensation, unconvincing excuses instead. At that, they billed bread that we never ordered and got served (and ate) and also water that we neither ordered NOR got served. The souvlaki was cancelled eventually and the billed water also after our complaints. Very unpleasant service altogether. The served food was good except for the fried chips, they were relatively cold and not crunchy rather oily soft. The prices are relatively high for the Chalkidiki. I wouldn’t...
