How to poop yourself in 30 minutes - think of this title if you are going to write a cooking book.
First of all, the FOOD was BLEND and OVERCOOKED. We started with a salad that didn’t blew us away, but it was ok (you can’t really screw things up with a salad). We had a fish and seafood platter which was more of a fish platter. Every fish on that plate tasted BITTER and the salmon was NOT FRESH. By the way it was crumbling and tasting, I dare to say that salmon lived in a different era, maybe with the dinosaurs (we did not eat it and half of the platter). The octopus and calamari rings were chewy and the baby langoustines were to small to even be taken in consideration.
I must admit that it does look like an authentic restaurant; nice, clean and the waiter’s service overall was decent. But if someone asks you how the food is and you know it’s bad, don’t advertise it as delicious. It s 3 AM, I am on vacation, and I have gotten food poisoning from the “fresh” products you serve. I would not recommend the...
Read moreI sadly don‘t know where the good reviews are coming from. We were there yesterday night because of the good reviews and it was not good! The Starters were good, Bread with different dips and fried zucchinis with tzaziki. The zucchini could have been bigger slices but the taste was good. For the main course we had moussaka and shrimp saganaki. And this was really a big dissapointment. For 5 Shrimps which were overcooked and in a sauce which was way to sour I had to pay 15€. The moussaka was not seasoned at all! The potatoes that came with it tasted like warmed up from the day before. We couldn‘t Finish our food because of the taste. We then got gifted chocolate cake which was also WAY to wet and tasted like a lot of alcohol in it. This kind of ruined our evening because we were excited for a great greek restaurant. Also it‘s an overpriced restaurant for what you‘re getting there.
Never the less, staff was friendly and the restaurant was clean and well...

This place is a textbook example of how to ruin your evening in Halkidiki. Our bill was €121. When we said we’d pay by card, it suddenly became €136, under the excuse of “taxes” – in reality, they added a tip without our consent. This is dishonest, disrespectful, and unacceptable.
The food? Utterly mediocre. Small portions, bland taste, but luxury-resort prices(8€ for a basic beer).
To make matters worse, the waiter – a fellow Romanian – thought it was fine to make sexist jokes and inappropriate remarks just because we weren’t smiling. Totally unprofessional and uncomfortable.
There are plenty of honest, welcoming tavernas in Halkidiki. Spend your money where you’ll actually get good food and respect, not hidden charges and...
