Mazi Greek Taverna — Restaurant in Kassandra Municipality

We arrived at about 6pm so it was not busy or full of diners. We found our table and then we were given menus.

Once we ordered our food we did not have a long wait.

I ordered Tzatziki and bread and then Feta with honey and sesame and chips, my husband ordered the pork tomahawk.

We had a couple of drinks each.

There was not really any choice for a Vegetarian or Vegan, meal. My husband said the pork steak was excellent and my food was good too.

However, the service was not the best, we had to ask for a steak knife as the waiting staff we sat towards the back of the restaurant on their phones. We felt that the service could have been more friendly and welcoming instead of feeling like we had to go on search of someone to help us. We do realise that we visited towards the end of the season but Kriopigi was still busy. Our visit to Mazi was on Friday 5th September

If the service had been better we would have returned as the food was very good

Went here on Saturday 12th July 2025. The food was appalling. What they didn’t tell you was that it is a minimum of 25 Euro per person for a very basic menu.
