Megkas — Restaurant in Katerini Municipality

Nope, not a place for me. The back yard is supposedly located at the beach with a straight view to the sea and it is. But there's a catch. You get greasy oiled tourists right in front of you lying on aspyxiatingly close to each other deck chairs. Everything and everyone is crammed on a tiny piece of beach. I honestly felt claustrophobic while being outside. And then they brought us menus with huge pictures of the plates on offer. The Easter atmosphere was very nice. Nice music, nice guests who were dancing. But food was a catastrophe. Seafood salad was the worst salad we have ever had in Greece. Too much canned tuna inside! Seaside restaurant and canned fish?? Old bread, very untasty. Lamb was composed of 50% of fat, 40% of bones and 10% of meat. Nothing to eat for an astronomic price. For me - huge disappointment.
