Yesterday (14th of August) we went (two people) to eat. We were shown a table for four and were told that we should sit there. Someone came dropped two menus on the table and left. We needed a greek and an english one. We had no time to ask for anything. The person disappeared. Another waitress came to bring us water. We asked for an English menu. It never came. The first one now comes 15 minutes later to take our order. We told her we needed an English menu. 15 minutes later she takes our order. We ordered a salad, a starter, two main dishes. While waiting I wanted to just move my wooden chair to the left. It is then when I got three splinters in my hand from the chair. I tried to take them out but it was impossible. The drinks come, then the salad comes, then later one of the main dishes, later the starter and even later the second main dish. We asked for some more lemon because 1/4 of a lemon wouldn’t be enough and had to go inside 20 minutes later to get it ourselves. The food was already cold. The food was very tasty. If you ignore all this and one of the three men smoking inside the kitchen (one could see it from behind the taverna while going and/or leaving the premises because the back door was open). It was really nice. One should forget about going to the toilet. There are lights to wash your hands. If you want to do anything else it’s all dark. No lights. Like in the 17th century I guess. Next day pus in all the three sides of my hand was gathered. Had to take it out with the good old hot needle method. We went there again (on the 15th of August) to eat. As I said the food was really nice. The “boss” (to whom we have paid with a credit card the day before) said that he had no tables for us (two people again). The tavern though was literally empty. They were two families eating. He claimed that there were only “big tables today” and there was nowhere for us to sit. Us the two people. My guess: he was just expecting a lot of people to come after the church mess. We went to the restaurant opposite (alati) and that was an upgrading of our gastronomical experience in Komotini. So thank you Mr. Arnemousi for driving us right to your competitors! And sorry not sorry, we’re never...

Bizde tam bir bağımlılık yaptı diyebilirim. Pazar günü hemen hemen her yer kapalıyken burası açıktı. Fiyatlar süper ötesi, porsiyonlar devasa, patron we çalışanlar sıcakkanlı. Servis hızlı. Wc çok temiz. Yemek sonrası tatlı ikramı için teşekkür ediyorum.Bugün kırmızı etlerini denedik, yarın deniz ürünleri için tekrar gideceğiz.
İkinci gün: Kabak kızartması incecik, çok güzel,beğendik. Ahtapot we kalamar yumuşacık, çok lezzetli.
