We visited this place for breakfast and ordered two full breakfasts, which came with coffee or juice. Shockingly, my girlfriend found a dead wasp in her coffee—she nearly swallowed it. We immediately reported the incident to the owners, but instead of showing concern, they tried to come up with "normal" explanations for how the wasp might have ended up in the cup (as if that were our main concern).
Despite the incident, we decided to pay and leave quietly, although we certainly didn’t feel we should have been charged. To our surprise, the owners still asked us to pay the full price.
As a final note, just before we left, we saw the bartender (a young woman) dip her finger into the milk foam of a cappuccino to remove the excess—clearly a hygiene issue.

We were therefore not disappointed when main courses were brought in half way through the appetizers. However, seafood risotto looked like a mess, as if it came out of a freezer and tasted just as bad. Returned it to the waiter who spoke to chef who gave him a robust rebuttal. Apparently, his food is good it’s just that we didn’t like it. The cook’s wounded pride took another beating when we said that we won’t pay for risotto and the waiter obliged. Never thought I’d say it about a resto in Levkada, but we...
