HOOD 44 — Restaurant in Lefkada Municipality

Very bad service, the waitress was rude, always on his phone and he didn’t speak English well, I choose salmon bagel he told us the salmon bagel was sold out so I choose something else (Jogurt) and my boyfriend wanted salami bagel and we ordered it. (He confirmed it). We got the Jogurt and we’re waiting for 20 minutes for the salami bagel, when I asked how is it going he told us, that it’s sold out and that the salmon one was in stock (which I wanted at first and was told it’s not in stock), HE messed up and didn’t even apologise. There were two of us of course we didn’t want only one meal… One big mess. Never again.

Answer: I understand you are trying to defend you cafe and employees, but I think your staff didn’t want to admit they messed up, my english is not bad at least I can differ salmon and salami :) we waited for the food 10 minutes (it’s okey) after the food arrived (only the Jogurt) we waited for 10 minutes for the second meal, it didn’t come, so then I started eating and while eating we asked the waitress (while he was playing on his phone), what’s going on with the second meal. (Sorry but the two minutes they told you are very funny). Then, we got told it’s not coming, so of course we were very disappointed hungry and didn’t want to pay, because we didn’t received what we asked and were not satisfied, it was not problem of the 4€ price, but the access of your employees. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Ως επισκέπτης από το Ιράν, δεν μπορώ να μην παρομοιάσω το Hood 44 με ένα αυθεντικό περσικό χαλί από την Κασσάνη (Kashan) όσο περνάει ο καιρός, τόσο πιο όμορφο και πολύτιμο γίνεται. Από την πρώτη μέρα μέχρι σήμερα, διατηρεί την εξαιρετική ποιότητα στον καφέ και μια μοναδική αίσθηση φιλοξενίας. Το προσωπικό είναι πάντα φιλικό, ευγενικό και επαγγελματικό σου φτιάχνει τη μέρα με χαμόγελο και θετική ενέργεια. Αν επισκέπτεστε τη Λευκάδα, είναι στάση που δεν πρέπει να χάσετε. The place is very cosy with chill out music and not too loud for a morning coffe. The coffee is illy and it is very nice. We ordered a limonade and they charged 5 euros which I think is a rip off for the Greek standard. There are no prices on the menus on the tables or QR available. Not prices listed anywhere in the shop and tricky selling techniques are obvious like offering you water but bringing a bottle of water instead. Locals ask for a glass of water....
