Minas Nidri — Restaurant in Lefkada Municipality

Ridiculously high prices for the quality of the food served which is mid at best. Slow service, more than 45 minute wait for a dish of pasta. They werent even busy as we were having a late dinner and most patrons had already finished theirs. The kitchen seems to be struggling and inconsistent. Also this waiter gentleman who speaks back to customers saying it’s only been ‘30 min’ as if thats somehow acceptable 😂. Not to mention he was lying, and he knew it because he gave us ‘free dessert on the house’. Safe to say we wont go back, although visiting Lefkada yearly.

Edit: they claim that the order took 31 minutes, and that is just a lie. We have watches too on our wrists and phones. Perhaps your waiters delayed sending the order to the kitchen once it was placed. Wouldn’t be surprised since they were so disorganized. Not to mention 31 minutes is unacceptable for any pasta dish. Is called preparing things in advance. The pasta had no fresh fish, it was rooster. So yeah no thanks, the dessert and your ‘hospitality’ is not needed, nor appreciated. Im sure you will receive other criticism if you continue acting this way.

For anyone who walks through the boardwalk filled with restaurants, and is looking to eat well and not wait or get attitude back, go to Panorama. We did that the next day and were pleasantly surprised. Should have known better since this place is always full, and...

Since there are a lot of Taverna's around we felt having something different. The food was very creative and super tasty especially the starters, especially the gaspacho with prawn tartare (amazing). The portion on the mains could have been a bit bigger, as the lamb ribs where small and only had 3 or 4 only, on a bed of spinach. All good and all, just would have loved it to be a bit fuller. They also gave us the tiramisu complimentary, which was nice of them and it is their take on a Tiramisu, not the conventional one, which was nice and fresh, with pieces of fruit. Definitely worth a try, won't be disappointed, keep in mind this is not the traditional taverna, so the prices are definitely higher than you'd find in the tavernas (although you cannot compare the two), in short not a cheap meal, but definitely worth...

This is a good looking restaurant that is trying very hard - and succeeding - to make its mark at the higher end of the market. We arrived early evening so had no problem getting a table but would advise booking if you’re going to eat later. I don’t really come to Greece to eat meat and mash potato but with beef cheek and mash I kind of knew it was a risk worth taking (I’ll eat fresh fish anywhere every night of my holiday here after all) and it was definitely worth it.
