Rouda Cafe-Restaurant — Restaurant in Lefkada Municipality

I don't recommend. We went on noon, we were 2 persons, the restaurant was almost empty, no customers. They told me what they have from the menu and even allowed me to see it in the kitchen to make a selection (the kitchen was not the cleanest place ever) . We ordered one souvlaki, one moussaka which was already prepared and some drinks. All good till the moment we waited 1 hour before we get the souvlaki with still no trace from the already prepared mousskaka that i selected in the kitchen and the waiter. I exploded. I went directly to the kitchen, the stuff were sitting, laughing and drinking beer and i loudly asked what happened with my moussaka. They stressed out and asked me what exactly I have ordered. EDIT: notice how the owner will always claim you didn't eat at his place when the review is bad while also answering other part of the review and basically contradict himself! Kind sir, photos dont lie, that pasta LOOKS bad let alone the taste. Please do better and don't go pasive aggressive on people who literally support you financially as again, IT IS REALLY NOT CHEAP!

Honestly the food was not it. Maybe it was our fault wanting pasta in greece but honestly it was a very sad attempt at bolognese and they came out sooooo cold the cheese had no chance of melting which is very unappetising. The sauce was literally heated can sauce, with no attempt of seasoning it or cooking it through. Tuna salad was soggy and watered down so much we had to pat down the water with napkins. Beach service was good but our experience in the restaurant was horrible. My husband asked whether there was fresh fish before we sat and he was reassured that there was only to find out that there was only farm fish after we sat down. His pork steak was decent but rather fatty. There was minimum oil in xoriatiki salad and we had to ask for more to be added. My chicken schnitzel was actually frozen and was not edible. I would not have ordered if I knew was frozen. Really poor quality of food and very expensive for the quality. We visited an Italian restaurant in Nydri in the evening of the same day where we had top quality food and service for only 5 euros extra.
