Plenty seafood options to choose from - including fresh fish - and such delicious food!

What we had: for starters, the tuna fish tartar - probably the best one I ever tasted, incredibly delicious - and a salad, which I can't remember how it was called but it had figs and feta cheese besides all the greens; it was a good salad, though I would have preferred a bit more dressing to it... it was slightly dry, but still a tasty salad; the fresh mussels saganaki and shrimps with ouzo and milk cream as the main courses; it was probably the best mussels saganaki I had - its tomato sauce was simply amazing with all that pulp - and the sauce from the shrimps was also incredibly delicious; both the mussels and shrimps were very, very delicious as well... and I want to emphasize on the shrimps because they were indeed shrimps, not the bigger sized prawns; the desserts were a cheesecake and salted caramel ice cream with hot chocolate syrup; the cheesecake was good, with a creamy and delicious mascarpone cream, a very hard biscuit base and an (unfortunately) unimpressive jam on top, couldn't figure out what kind it was... but the ice cream was to die for! I rarely get to taste just a delicious ice cream at the restaurant, on par with the one we make at home. It's one large cup, definitely homemade, with delicious crunchy salted caramel bits inside and the chocolate syrup made it even better! Just to give you an idea of how impressed I was, I initially ordered for myself the cheesecake and for my girlfriend the ice cream; when I tasted that ice cream, after finishing the cheesecake I ordered one for myself as well. I never have 2 desserts, I was already full and I'm not a big fan of ice cream in general... but - as I said - this one was to die for!

I was sorry I was too full to try the fresh fish, I'm sure it's delicious. And we were staying too far away to come a second time.

The staff was very friendly and helpful, with very good spoken English and they were constantly looking at customers to see if anyone needed anything. To be frank, that wasn't even hard because the restaurant is very small with a lot of crowded tables... but it was nice to see they showed so much care for their customers.

Also, this is where I found some of the cleanest and largest bathrooms in a restaurant.

So 5 stars all the way for the food and the service, it's an incredible restaurant!

The rose house wine wasn't great though, very dry and not so tasty... and at 5€ for 500ml I do have some doubts it was actual wine. Better stick to bottled wine here.

The bill for all of the above was 76€, which is ok for all the...

My wife and I have been visiting this wonderful restaurant for over two years, returning more than ten times whenever we’re in Mikros Gialos. The food is consistently excellent: fresh, flavorful, and marked by culinary creativity and imagination. It’s clear that the kitchen takes pride in offering more than just the standard fare.

Service has always been friendly, welcoming, and attentive. This year, we were pleasantly surprised to see the space had undergone a tasteful renovation, which has further elevated the overall ambiance. It’s now even more enjoyable to relax and dine in this beautifully refreshed setting.

On our most recent visit, I witnessed an unfortunate incident involving a visitor who tried to park in front of the restaurant . The owner, Fillipos, politely explained that parking was prohibited, and when the visitor insisted he only wanted takeaway, Fillipos explained that the restaurant doesn’t offer takeaway service — something I can personally confirm from previous experiences. Unfortunately, this guest responded by leaving a very negative and misleading review, which I’ve noticed below. It’s disappointing to see such a review based not on food, service, or atmosphere, but on a misunderstanding and refusal to follow rules and etiquette.

We feel it’s important to share a more accurate and honest impression of this restaurant. It remains our favorite in the area and continues to deliver both quality and charm....

We came to The Molos attracted by the beautiful location and how tasty the food looked in pictures, but our experience was very disappointing.

From the moment we arrived, the waiter (the only one there) was rude. We politely asked for water with a few slices of lemon, and his answer was sharply: “Sit down, I need to prepare the table first.” After setting the table and bringing the menus, he came back to take our order, but when we repeated that we just wanted water for the moment, he visibly sighed, complained loudly in Greek twice, and spoke annoyed to his colleague.

The atmosphere became uncomfortable and unwelcoming, so we decided to leave. As we were walking out, the waiter even said something ironic behind our backs.

Maybe the food is good, but the staff’s attitude completely ruined the experience. Sadly, we did not feel...

I had a regrettable experience at Molos. The portions were surprisingly small, leaving me unsatisfied, especially considering the steep prices. The staff was also unfriendly, lacking warmth and attentiveness. It felt like they didn't value their customers. Additionally, I want to caution others about the pricing. Be vigilant and carefully review the menu and your bill, as they tend to overcharge if you're not paying attention. It's disappointing to encounter such dishonest practices. Overall, I cannot recommend Molos due to the combination of small portions, high prices, and an unfriendly staff. There are better options available in the area that offer more value for your money and a more pleasant dining experience. Take your business elsewhere to avoid disappointment.

A small peace of heaven on earth! The location, the food, the ambiance. This family owned restaurant (fronted by mom in the kitchen and the son taking care of guests) offered one of the top 10 lunches I've had. Everything was fresh, perfectly cooked and just bliss. I'm not a dessert person so was hesitant to order any dessert but the waiter persuaded us they had an amazing carrot cake we HAD to try. It was truly amazing. Could have paid 3x without blinking.
