Very disappointing experience. We came to the beach bar for breakfast and paid 25€, but the service was slow. My friend ordered yogurt with granola, which was clearly listed on the menu with fruit, but it came without any. When we asked about it, the cook or bartender told us breakfast was over—so no fruit—despite the fact that we had just ordered. Not only unhelpful, but also misleading.
After breakfast, we moved to the sunbeds on the beach. We were told there was a minimum consumption of 10€ per two sunbeds. Since we were a group of four and had already spent 25€ at the same bar, we thought that would cover it. Apparently not. We were told the breakfast didn’t count because it wasn’t consumed on the beach, which made no sense and wasn’t communicated at all beforehand.
My pregnant friend had a non-alcoholic beer she had brought from a store earlier, but they told her it wasn't allowed—even though they didn’t offer any non-alcoholic options themselves. Later, we went to the store and picked up two regular beers to quickly drink at the beach before ordering more from the bar. As soon as we opened them, the bartender came over and started yelling at us loudly in front of everyone, accusing us of disrespecting his bar. We explained that we had already ordered food and hadn’t realized breakfast didn’t count toward the sunbed rule, but he just kept shouting “breakfast is breakfast” and told us to pack up and leave.
Honestly, the entire situation could have been handled with basic politeness and communication. Instead, we were met with rudeness and yelling. If you can’t speak to your customers respectfully or explain your rules clearly, maybe hospitality isn’t the right job. Would definitely...
Read moreWe chose this beach because it was quieter and less crowded, which at first seemed like a great decision.
Unfortunately, it soon became clear why so few people were here.
Upon arrival, the waiter informed us there was a €30 minimum spend per umbrella, which we accepted.
However, the menu displayed had no prices listed, so we had no idea what anything cost. Each time we ordered, the final bill was a surprise.
What made the experience truly unpleasant was the constant pressure from the staff. Every few hours, the waiter would return, insisting that we order more in order to meet the required minimum.
Instead of enjoying a relaxing day by the sea, we felt hounded and stressed. It was clear they were more concerned about us hitting the €30 than about offering a good experience.
We were constantly watched, and the atmosphere became tense and uncomfortable—as if we were being treated with suspicion.
By 4 PM, we still had €20 left to spend, and the waiter came yet again, demanding that we either place an order or hand over the €20 in cash.
Overall, it was a frustrating and disappointing experience.
This kind of aggressive approach to customers has no place in hospitality. We would not return, and we wouldn’t recommend...
Read moreThe best place in Limenaria to have your evening drinks in my opinion. The atmosphere, music and service all get my best rating.
If you live in the east end of Limenaria, the short walk over to this place is more than worth it. If you live in the west end, you'll get proof of most of this review just passing through on your way to the main bundle of restaurants in the east end.
The staff here have the best taste in music. Different genres (jazz, reggae, pop and rock), but only the best quality from each genre. The place is worth visiting only for the music.
Staff is friendly beyond expectations, and they make great drinks! Ask for their recommendations;)
The thought and effort put into the newly renovated layout and design of the place makes it the most cozy and beautiful bar on the beach.
The relaxing music plays all day, but in terms of service, I can only review the bartender who is/was there from eight o'clock in the evening since I never visited earlier in the day. A really nice guy who balances professionalism and...
