"THEOXENIA" RESTAURANT KALAMPAKA - METEORA - GREECE — Restaurant in Meteora Municipality

You could find dog food better than this crap they cook in the kitchen. The meat was plastic and the fries were soggy and sour (how do you even manage that???).

The restaurant was full of Bulgarian teenagers who were very loud and annoying and blocked us from getting the food for 40+ minutes.

The staff was pissed at the customers for just existing (to be fair, I would be too if I had to work in this abomination of a restaurant). And the price was 20€ for abnormally small amount of trashy meat and fries.

Toilets are rusty and they stink like crazy. There is no toilet paper inside and you'll be lucky to find a drop of the soap inside the dispenser. The tables were dirty and greasy as well.

All in all -1/10, I'd rather die than ever...

We ended up here because it was where our tour group put us, but the general consensus in reviews is correct: overpriced and mediocre food. My soup was cold, bread bland and stale, and the pork was dry. I didn’t finish anything I picked up, and paid far more for it than anywhere else we have been. Try to avoid this if you can. Also, be warned that they have no prices listed and they don’t seem to take card. They told my husband they had an issue and asked him to wait, then just left him standing there with no help. I just had to run and give him cash so he could pay for the food. The best part? The cute dog outside happily looking for pets....

Not recommended!!!!!! even if you are hungry because they serve bad food, no bills, and finally they are ready to fight if you tell them "where is bill?".They are the Greek champion in category "unprofessional". Prices are too high for this type of restaurant. Local manager, i think his name is Jorgos, is far away from manager, he looks more like little street trickster and a crying child... this restaurant Teoxenia is just simple "restaurant fraud" and there are many similar stories as I investigated last three days.... The restaurant is just for rating...
