Meteora Superior Collection Villas — Hotel in Meteora Municipality

I booked this property but unfortunately had to cancel shortly after — and despite my cancellation request, the hotel refused to process it or offer any refund. The listing itself is misleading since it states that “charges may apply,” not that the booking is strictly non-refundable.

When I contacted the hotel, there was no willingness to assist or show flexibility, even though I tried to resolve the issue politely and within a reasonable time frame. As a result, I had to find another property last minute during the evening, paying an extra €60 out of pocket just to have a place to stay.

This kind of customer service and lack of clarity in policy is unacceptable, especially within the EU, where consumers have rights to transparent terms under Directive 2011/83/EU on consumer rights.

Extremely disappointing experience. I arrived at the property with a confirmed, fully paid booking — yet the owners refused to accommodate me upon arrival. No valid reason was given, and their attitude was dismissive and unprofessional.

I was left stranded late in the evening, forced to find last-minute accommodation elsewhere and pay an additional €60 out of pocket. Despite reaching out for help, there was zero willingness to assist or take responsibility.
