The best place in Alexandroupolis*! I've tried 5 restaurants for the 5 days there but +ousia was the best as atmosphere, food quantity and price and service! All the other places were good too but this was the only one I went to eat 3 or 4 times - lunch and dinner twice. Had something that looked like a hari once and was not sure if it was but both the owner and server did not let me keep the dish. They said no! We change it and just took it away. It was amazing and so kind! Not everyone know English but enough people do and even if you get someone that's not that good it's really easy to order and understand each other. Big thank you to all the staff and management and will definitely visit if I come again! Definitely recommend the place!

P.s. there is a big public parking around 1 or 2 minutes walking next to the seaside strip with all the restaurants. This place is the 2nd restaurant so maybe 2...

What a great experience!

Everywhere was really busy and while no one was even willing to consider seating us, this place found a table for us and the staff, especially Nazife, was very helpful. The owner was also very friendly and welcoming, we also really appreciated that he communicated with us that the kitchen staff is really overwhelmed with the orders, but the overall wait was reasonable.

The food was incredible, we tried a variety of the appetizers and main fish dishes. The grilled octopus was absolutely amazing and a must, the prawn linguine was great and the fried zucchini shouldn't be missed.

Portions are too small, telling about main meal, which are expensive. Salad, risotto - yes, rather big portions, but octopus, mussels etc - 2-3 times smaller then expected. Only here I felt myself like in Istanbul - from the very beginning be careful not to be cheated - you order some drinks they bring another saying they’re the same🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️ Checkout was some kind of “comedy” - they bring just bank terminal with an amount. To ask the bill - it’s some challenge, only after asking the chef they managed to print the bill. The initial amount on the screen of bank terminal and final amount in the bill were different, not much, but this only adds annoyance.
