While trotting through the paths of Chora we discovered this incredible bohemian restaurant. This is a small village and it's the type of place most people have never been. Nothing is smooth and nothing is flat. It's more like a maze where you come upon a treasure at every turn. Kath' odon was our treasure that evening. We had 3 delicious dishes; puree fava beens, aubergine with onions and pork cooked in plum sauce. The first two dishes were cooked in clay pots. Each dish was so good and full of flavor. We arrived there at approximately 8:00 so the sun was setting in another 45 minutes, soon the place started filling up. Mind you the location is unique in the crosshairs of a few srone paths, where the tables and chairs are all over the place in what would seem like there's no order but there is. They're very friendly considering we were strangers. I would love to return there and see what else they have on their menu. We met up with 5 local cats...

This is a multi generational restaurant with a menu full of classic Amorgian & Greek classics as well as some secret recipes from Grandma 😀. That’s when you know you’re getting the good stuff. At the recommendation of our server Elena, i tried the local goat dish and my wife had the Kath’odon salad, which might be a top three salad ever, anywhere. Goat was delicious, though i felt a little guilty when i saw them hanging out on the way back to the hotel 😏. Find a seat under the trees and make sure you talk to Elena, she’s super fun. And, if she offers you a glass of her grandfather’s Raki, try it. It might just...

Really recommend this place! The service is a bit slow, but in that nice, laid-back island way. The waiter was very polite and friendly, which made us feel welcome. The food was excellent – we had the Greek salad, sardines, and fried cheese, all of which were delicious. The fresh orange juice was also a highlight – probably the only one on the island served without ice, in a big glass, and it tasted amazing. Just a little tip: as everywhere on the island, watch out for the cats trying to steal something off your table – they’re cheeky but funny! Definitely...

This is definitely a restaurant with the loveliest setting in Chora. Charming little square with trees and lamps around, we got to see even the sun going down on one of the red flowered trees. The food was very tasty, interesting selection of local dishes prepared with attention (my rice had a lovely seasoning and the stew delicious saus) and presented in an appetising way.
