PLATANOS — Restaurant in Municipality of Andros

Visited Platanos with friends, ordered grilled oyster mushrooms and they brought us regular grilled mushrooms, when we questioned it they said they didn't have oyster mushrooms so they brought this, but if we didn't want to pay for it then it would be alright by them. We also ordered a meat platter which had frozen nuggets. We also asked if it would be possible to have something else instead of sausage, they said it was fine but they didn't replace it. Finally we ordered a drink (oinomelo) which wasn't palatable. The location although is good. Overall not satisfied with...

I wish I could write a complete review of my opinion at this restaurant, describing all aspects of the dining experience, however the restaurant didn't provide sufficient service. Our table was cleaned, however there was no willingness to take our order for over 45 minutes, although it was reminded to them 2-3 times that we are ready to order. Obviously the staff seemed tired and its all an issue Management should be dealing with. I'm giving this place a negative review not only because the service was at the very least poor, but because the staff seemed overworked and I really doubt they were paid accordingly. However I need to add that when confronted with their poor management, they were reluctant to apologise and brushed it off practically saying it is what it is. Such a shame they treat customers this way and wonder why people dont visit! Επειδή είδα ότι ειχατε την τσιπα να απαντήσετε, μάλιστα στα ελληνικά μην τυχόν κάποιος τουρίστας καταλάβει,αφήστε τι δουλειά έχω κάνει εγώ στην εστία και τι ξέρω εγώ. Μισό χαμόγελο από το προσωπικό σας δεν υπήρχε, μισή ανάληψη ευθύνης από εσάς δεν υπήρχε, που να τη βρω τη διάθεση;επίσης όταν έγραψα οτι περιμενα 50 λεπτά έκοβα το πόση ώρα περίμενα να βρούμε καρέκλες που να μην έχει σπάσει ο πάτος τούς. Αν το προσωπικό είναι ικανοποιημένο,(επειδή έχω δουλεψει) αυτό φαίνεται οταν θα σου πουν μια καλησπέρα και κάποιο ευχαριστώ/παρακαλώ που προφανώς δεν ακούσαμε. Αν δεν θέλετε να γινετε καλύτερος καταστηματαρχης το καταλαβαίνω και το σέβομαι, όμως το να πετάτε την ευθύνη στον πελάτη είναι λίγο γελοίο. Καλή συνέχεια, και αν θέλετε κουβέντα θα γίνει...

Nice place with good atmosphere. Unfortunately the service wasn’t good, we ordered a fresh lemonade, we received one from a can poured in a glass, when we asked if we could have a fresh lemonade as we ordered, the guy took it back just to come back after one minute explaining that the manager saying it was not possible to make it. At the end they charged us as fresh lemonade instead of the can one which costed less. I think it was a bit unfair...
