As we approached Psito Grill restaurant in Kalyves, Crete, the tantalizing aroma of grilled meat wafted through the air, instantly awakening our senses. As a self-proclaimed carnivore, I couldn't help but feel a surge of excitement at the prospect of indulging in a feast of smoky flavors.Psito Grill certainly lived up to its reputation. We opted for the mixed grill for two, and every bite was a symphony of taste sensations. The chicken was tender and juicy, the pork bursting with flavor, and the sausage a delightful combination of spices. Accompanying the generous portions of protein were perfectly grilled veggies, adding a refreshing balance to the meal.Despite the hearty portions, we couldn't resist devouring our plates, although we happily embraced the leftovers for later. To top off our meal, we were treated to complimentary raki, a delightful touch of Cretan hospitality, and a "carrot cake" dessert that proved to be a delightful surprise – more akin to a luscious carrot pudding than a traditional cake.For anyone seeking a memorable dining experience centered around expertly grilled entrees, Psito Grill is undoubtedly the place to be in Kalyves. With its heavenly aromas, generous portions, and warm hospitality, it's a carnivore's paradise not to be missed. Great local gem!!!!!

A massive thank you to the wonderful team at To Psito for giving our family of nine such amazing nights! This place is an absolute gem of a grill house, and we were blown away by the food and the hospitality.

The mixed grills were incredible – juicy pork chops, tender lamb chops, perfectly seasoned chicken, and mouth-watering local sausages. Every plate was packed with flavour and cooked to perfection over the grill. You could truly taste the quality and care in every bite.

But it wasn't just the food that made To Psito so special – the staff were outstanding. Friendly, welcoming, and always making sure we were happy and comfortable, they made us feel like part of the family. Their warmth and genuine kindness turned every dinner into a night to remember.

PETS UNFRIENDLY

not allowed to sit at the outside area with 2 small/medium dogs under the table. this never happened before in any other restaurant in an outside area before. Shock ! so our family has to split to eat , so one could stay outside of the restaurant with the dogs.

EDIT: answer to the owners reply that I’m lying: we choose this restaurant based on the google information of the restaurant - outdoor space & ( most important and the reason why we didn’t ask if the dogs are allowed ) DOGS ALLOWED! But not only they welcomed us when we arrived ( they couldn’t unseen the dogs ) , they let us order , and when the food was on the table we’ve been told to leave with the dogs ( that have been sitting under the table - not barking, well behaved ).
