Apovrado Restaurant in Corfu is a true culinary gem that offers an exceptional dining experience in a stunning setting. Perched on a hillside with breathtaking views of the Ionian Sea, this restaurant combines exquisite cuisine with an ambiance that is both elegant and relaxing.

The menu at Apovrado is a delightful exploration of Greek and Mediterranean flavors, with a focus on fresh, locally-sourced ingredients. Each dish is beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. The seafood is particularly outstanding—perfectly cooked and seasoned, with the catch of the day always being a highlight. The octopus, in particular, is a must-try, tender and grilled to perfection.

The restaurant also offers a great selection of traditional Greek dishes, all prepared with a modern twist. The moussaka is rich and flavorful, and the lamb dishes are cooked to tender perfection. For those who appreciate fine dining with a local touch, Apovrado does not disappoint.

The service is impeccable, with attentive and knowledgeable staff who go out of their way to ensure you have a memorable dining experience. They are more than happy to suggest wine pairings from their excellent selection of local and international wines, which complement the dishes beautifully.

The atmosphere at Apovrado is serene and sophisticated, making it the perfect spot for a romantic dinner or a special occasion. The views at sunset are simply spectacular, adding to the overall magic of the evening.

In summary, Apovrado Restaurant is a must-visit for anyone in Corfu who appreciates top-quality food, excellent service, and an unforgettable dining experience. It’s a place where every detail is thoughtfully considered, ensuring that you leave with wonderful memories and a desire to return. Highly...

Unfortunately, our experience here was disappointing. We had made a reservation by phone, but when we arrived, it didn‘t exist. Fortunately, they managed to seat us quickly as there was an empty table — otherwise, we would’ve had to drive all the way back to our hotel.

The view is absolutely stunning, and the staff was friendly. However, the food left much to be desired. We ordered the sea bream and the sea bass. While the fish was grilled well, the sides that came with it were a letdown. The steamed zucchini and what we think was chard were completely unseasoned — no salt, no flavor. They came with a cold potato salad that tasted bitter. It was very disappointing considering the high prices, and the food felt carelessly prepared. To avoid leaving hungry, we ordered an extra portion of fries.

When the waitress asked if everything was okay, we politely mentioned that the sides were inedible — they remained untouched on our plates. Her response was, “That’s how it’s done in Greece,” as if we hadn’t eaten these same dishes many times before in Greece and across Europe. We didn’t argue, but we left with a bad taste in our mouths — literally and figuratively.

We...

Lovely gem of a restaurant with good food, reasonable prices, friendly service and stunning views.

The pink dip with the bread for starters was especially delicious.

The steak, souvlaki, burgers and moussaka were well-cooked and tasty. The kebab was also tasty but slightly too undercooked for me. I asked for it to be cooked for a little longer, as I have stomach issues, which they kindly accommodated, however it was still a little too pink for me to finish but I appreciate this is a matter of taste.

We also tried a local bottle of wine recommended to us, which was good, and our meal was nicely completed with a round of limoncello.

Being open air, there were a fair few wasps around, which is part and parcel of nature and the beautiful outdoor setting, but they had smouldering coffee grounds on hand to deal with this.

I liked the sign in the toilet (see photo) - this, together with some of the review responses, show this restaurant's great sense of humour, which is always...
