The view is absolutely stunning, and the staff was friendly. However, the food left much to be desired. We ordered the sea bream and the sea bass. While the fish was grilled well, the sides that came with it were a letdown. The steamed zucchini and what we think was chard were completely unseasoned — no salt, no flavor. They came with a cold potato salad that tasted bitter. It was very disappointing considering the high prices, and the food felt carelessly prepared. To avoid leaving hungry, we ordered an extra portion of fries.
When the waitress asked if everything was okay, we politely mentioned that the sides were inedible — they remained untouched on our plates. Her response was, “That’s how it’s done in Greece,” as if we hadn’t eaten these same dishes many times before in Greece and across Europe. We didn’t argue, but we left with a bad taste in our mouths — literally and figuratively.

The pink dip with the bread for starters was especially delicious.
The steak, souvlaki, burgers and moussaka were well-cooked and tasty. The kebab was also tasty but slightly too undercooked for me. I asked for it to be cooked for a little longer, as I have stomach issues, which they kindly accommodated, however it was still a little too pink for me to finish but I appreciate this is a matter of taste.
We also tried a local bottle of wine recommended to us, which was good, and our meal was nicely completed with a round of limoncello.
Being open air, there were a fair few wasps around, which is part and parcel of nature and the beautiful outdoor setting, but they had smouldering coffee grounds on hand to deal with this.
I liked the sign in the toilet (see photo) - this, together with some of the review responses, show this restaurant's great sense of humour, which is always...
