Horrendous, absolute scamy place.
Me and my wife walked in to have fresh fish with the opinion that there will be a spread of options but we were quickly told their selection was limited. We took our time to decide what else we would like to eat and drink, and at this time we were served water and bread without asking for it.
We ordered a Greek Souvlaki as a start first and decided to order more later. At this point we picked up the bread, which certainly was not soft, but rather dry and flaky. Upon picking up the other piece, we were shocked to see white and green mould on the bread. We immediately informed the girl who spoke english about this, and she completely negated us by saying thats because of the oven! We also mentioned that we will not eat it, and she simply left without offering a fresh bread. At this point we both were simply disappointed.
Then comes the Souvlaki. I cannot begin to explain how disgusting it looked. Inspite of it looking sus, we took a bite. It was totally dry uncooked and also a bit yellowish. It was served with the most thoughtless 2 tomato slices that were probably the only thing fresh in the entire dish. The potatoes were fully drenched in oil, and seems like they were fried in rancid oil.
We simply decided to leave. We called the owner expressing our disaapointment with the dish. She asked if we would like to order something else to which we politely refused.
Then comes the Bill. 23€ for the Souvlaki, 5€ for water and 4€ bread. The audacity to charge for the bread was beyond belief. At this time, we told her that we never ordered the bread and that it was stale with mould. So she said she will not charge for the bread.
We ended up paying 28€ to eat 2 tomato slices. This has been the worst restaurant experience for us in the last 10 years and we will never...
Read moreSo where should I begin…. We came from the beach upstairs to the restaurant and wanted to eat some good “fish food”… We asked the service personal where we should sit and he showed a table for 8 persons but only 1 chair was there, but instead of taking us to another table he said we should help him to carry the chairs. Then we waited 10 minutes for the menu and as we got them, he said we can read the menu but he only have 10 dishes. So we decided to order greek salad for all of us (9€) and thought we get nice greek salad with feta. After another 10 minutes the salads came: a lot of tomatoes, some cucumbers, 5 slices of onion and oregano on top. no olive oil only water or something like this as dressing, disgusting. Two friends of mine ordered cocktails(8€), you can only order them on the bar, and came back with an 0.5 liter cup but only maximal 250ml in it and half of it is ice. Then the caipirinha was only liquor with lemon sirup or something like that, tastes only like pure alcohol. Service: Never seen something like that, one guy run 50 meters away from the restaurant to a camera man and talked with him instead of giving us the menus or take our orders. Also we didn’t got ashtrays, no extra oil or anything like that. And as we ate a women from the bar came to our table and said us that we should write good reviews on google of the nice view and stuff like that and food is very good blablabla. “Because it’s good for...
Read moreThe place looks nice, and the staff looks friendly, but eventually your evening will be ruined. Guys don't know about the service. Ok, maybe it's a tavern, not a restaurant, but there should be at least a piece of service. If you put shrimps, it is common to put a bowl with water... They'll be glad to fool you :) if you order a lot - be sure your bill will contain something you didnt order. Drinks. The bar is pretty poor, they dont have Metaxa (hello, youre in Greece), tea or coffee. There are some cocktails they can make and those might be pretty nice, though. The view from the tavern is ruined by some old cement constructions, so first of all youll see them, and only then - the sea. They dont accept cards, have no internet, therefore, no music. Additionally, guys are not ready to give you the cheque with description (e. g. Shrimps - 15 €, fish - 70 €, water - 5 €). All you'll see is: food - 85 euro, drinks - 25 euro. They seem not to be legal at all :)
Overall impression is bad, even when it comes to food - the squid is too tough, the shrimps and food are ok, mussels smell not to well, etc.
Totally not recommended. Stay away...
