I don't think it's ever said this but if I could give more than 5 stars I would.
We were two people and were staying at the hotel near by. We walked in without a reservation on a Thursday evening quite early around 7pm. It was quite empty at that time and they were able to accommodate us and seat us immediately. As soon as we walked in the welcome was so amiable we quickly felt at ease and happy.
The seating is set up where there's ample space between the tables and each table for two setup has both seats on one side, facing the beautiful view towards the water. The extra space and seating arrangement really maximises enjoyment of the atmosphere.
Panorama really shines because of the incredibly friendly and attentive staff. A very kind lady server with an eye for photography kindly took some photos of us. She gave us cues on how to pose to highlight my growing baby bump and the photos turned out so beautiful. We are so grateful.
We also found the food to be very good.
Husband ordered the veal in puff pastry with white sauce- for me this was truly a masterwork of culinary craftsmanship. The flavors are so well developed. The veal seems to be slow stewed then mixed with other flavorful ingredients and stuffed in two puff pastry triangles. Amazing 10/10 would come back just for this. Panorama carbonara (pictured)- huge portion super tasty. FYI not a traditional carbonara for the purists. Rigatoni in a cream based cheesy sauce with hints if smoky pork and red pepper 8/10 Homemade cheesecake with kumquat marmalade (pictured)- amazing texture, a bit of an ice cream vibe, cookie crust...just so good. 10/10
Overall an amazing experience. Just a warning there were quite a lot of wasps around (also at our hotel nearby so maybe there's a hive somewhere). They disappeared once the sun went down. Shortly afterwards some pretty aggressive mosquitos came and we got bit pretty good. But they also disappeared after not too long. Can't fault the...

Beautiful setting and lovely atmosphere. Tasty food and reasonable prices compared with other restaurants and tavernas in the area. Our first dining experience in Corfu, having arrived around 2hrs earlier.
However, half the food + drinks on the menu were said to be unavailable (despite bottles (perhaps empty display bottles?) being visible behind the bar). We were told there were no cocktails or spirits, only two types of beer ane homemade wine. This was disappointing but fine, we figured, given it's off season.
An hour after our order was taken the wrong food arrived. This was followed by an eventual apology and information that the dishes we ordered were also not available. Another 30 mins after that they both turned up ("actually we did have them, sorry"). Our second drinks order only partially came. Surprised that so many mistakes were made despite there only being no more than 7 other tables shared between two waitstaff at the busiest period.
I mean no offence and leave this review reluctantly as I myself am a waiter - I understand that everyone has good and bad days, but this was a real letdown after reading the rave reviews online. Bonus star because they were graceful enough not to charge us for the things we received but didn't order (I also voluntarily paid for the drinks we ordered and received but did not appear on our bill). Perhaps we will try again before we leave to see if this was just an off day, but will be exploring other options in the...
Read moreThis restaurant was such a great experience. Our waiter was great and his name is Sam. It’s a family owned restaurant. The first evening we went there I had hoped to ordered the stuffed eggplant I saw a photo of and Sam said his mother makes it but its not on the menu and served as a special for a starter. He told me to return the next evening and she would make some for me. We had dinner there two night in a row because it was so delicious. Everything was so flavorful! We got to meet his mother who’s the cook the second evening. We made reservations online and it was simple. The view up high looking at the bay is amazing! The local wine is delicious and very inexpensive. The second evening we ordered 4 starters and it was a ton of food. We had the beef/lamb gyros, pita with 3 dipping sauces, chicken meatballs with an amazing sauce and the stuffed eggplant. The prices are great too! The first evening we had the spinach pie and it was the best I’ve ever eaten!
We highly recommended this restaurant and plan to return on our...
