Eleals Boutique Hotel — Hotel in Municipality of Central Corfu and Diapontia Islands

I’ve made the following review through the booking platform I’ve used for my stay. But also wanted to update here, since there are a lot more people reading the comments here in google maps.

If you’re patient enough to read my whole comment I’ll explain why it’s the best choice for accommodation in Corfu. Location: I can’t say I’m an expert for the beaches in corfu, but Eleals has its own private beach practically 1 min walk away. I’m not gonna lie, it’s a pebble beach. It does not have the perfect sand floor, but the water is crystal clear. During our stay, I’ve even observed several private yachts came and anchored for swimming. And they even provide swimming/surfing/diving shoes so that you can easily walk towards the sea. Not only the shoes but also they provide sunbeds, umbrellas, beach towels even SUPs for your entartainment. You can also order drinks&snacks to the beach from the bar.(don’t afraid the prices are very reasonable just enjoy it) If you don’t want to stuck at the same place and want to explore the other parts of the island and for which you’ve rented a car/scooter for it, there is a whole free parking are in front of the hotel that you can easily park. Every 40 mins or so, there is a bus to Corfu center or Benitses(another small town on the other direction. my bonus tip if you’ve read until here: take the bus(2€) & go to Benitses every night and have a dinner there each night in local taverns. Thank me later). So all in all, the location is 10/10.

Facilites: the room is very spacious(not sure if it’s only ours but I don’t think so) and very clean. Even though we had one of the rooms in the base floor, it has a whole sea view(see the pic I attached). The hotel is designed such a way that all the rooms have an amazing sea view(can’t imagine the higher floors). Rooms have a nespresso machine, and everyday they refresh the coffee capsules. So every morning & night we enjoyed our tasty coffees by the amazing view of Ionian sea. Every thing you’d need is already thought and provided: tooth brushes, water in the fridge daily,hair dryer,paper slippers for the room(even within the chain 4star hotels in europe I had to request it each stay & I hated it), even a shaving kit. Eleals offers you a daily customized breakfast according to your taste every morning. They have a menu which you can select from variety of toasts & egg breakfasts. It’s not like one of the standard boring buffets you’d get in most of the hotels. It’s individually customized & cooked. They also provide dinner for the lazy or time lacking customers. Unfortunately we have never tasted the dinner there but I’ve seen many clients having dinner in the hotel’s restaurant.

And the last part for the staff: they are always smiling and warmly welcoming. Always asking if you need anything with a warm smile. Many thanks to all of you. You guys were the best. And one big thanks also to the manager: Tasos. He was always helpful, provided full support with my questions and arranging whatever we needed(shuttle to airport, city info, buses etc). He even gave us some olive oil as a present from Corfu. Tasos if you’re reading this it was a pleasure to meet you, and I’m sure you’ll be very successful with your business. The service and attentiveness we received from the minute of walking in Eleals from Tasos and Sophia was easily the best we’ve ever received. Unfortunately times are tough for Tasos and Sophia’s family currently, however even during these tough times they still made it a priority in making sure we had the most pleasant and relaxing time. I think there’s a lot to take away from that, and people will understand that these amazing reviews people are leaving are genuine.

For people that love a hotel stay, in an amazing place with a incredible view, below are a few of the things that they went above and beyond with over what we’ve seen in any other hotel do prior;

Upon arrival they offered a drink instantly on the house, anything we wanted. We ordered an Aperol Spritz and these were by far the best we’ve had between Italy and Greece thus far. Tasos gave us his mobile number straight away and was able to give us the best restaurant recommendations in each town, going the extra length of calling each place and reserving a spot (again even in these unfortunate times). Also answered any queries we had in detail, credit to Tasos because his English is excellent. We handed the key back around 9am so they could get into the room early and clean it, used the beach across the road for a couple of hours and they were still more than accommodating even after we’d checked out - offering us a shower to use if we wanted to freshen up before our flight The hotels staff attention to detail were amazing, so thoughtful and generous. Just really good people.

Only a handful of the positives above that we took away from the 3 night stay, but should also be noted that this was a 3 night stay leading up to our wedding which Sophia and Tasos had no idea about until we were saying goodbye. Which is a testament to them and their family, because everything they did for us was genuine and out of the goodness of their hearts. Eleals Boutique Hotel is a beautiful and remarkable place. The entire hotel is spotlessly clean and filled with eye catching decor. The rooms are well designed and provide you with instant comfort, luxury and safety. Everything is properly designed, well made and feels sturdy.

Upon entering the hotel and feeling excited for my vacation, my partner and I were greeted with warmth and attentiveness by Tasos, who treated me as though I was someone both of importance to him and a dear family member he hadn’t seen in a while. It was a special kind of treatment that is difficult to explain but easy to feel grateful for. My first interaction with him further added to the excitement of my holiday. His hosting skills are second to none and equalled by only one other… Sophia. The level of service you get with Sophia is mind blowing. She will movie mountains to ensure you are comfortable in her care. I don’t know how the top 10% of the worlds wealthiest people get treated but I’m sure I had a taste of it during my stay here. The value of the service far outweighed the price I paid for it and sometimes left me feeling a little guilty.

Aside from the brother and sister hero duo, the entire staff are friendly and accommodating. The chefs are amazing and the food is exquisite. By far the best food I have ever tasted. The chefs take pride in their art and you can taste the passion and love in every single bite of anything they create.

I feel fortunate and blessed that I had a chance to experience Eleals Boutique Hotel. I absolutely love Corfu and will be going back again. But I have to say that half of the reason why I want to go back is to spend another holiday at Eleals!
