THYMARI — Restaurant in Municipality of Central Corfu and Diapontia Islands

We are just on our way back with my fiancé after staying in Ypsos for a week. We spent 5 out of 7 evenings at this place. only that we discovered this place 2 days too late. the food is delicious, with good quality ingredients and great value for money. but what makes this place magical is the atmosphere. you can feel that it is a family restaurant, run with great care for every detail. every evening after a meal, we pulled out cards and played with wine in a great atmosphere. we highly recommend it because it is a restaurant run with a big heart. We have dinner over there, absolutely if u wont tasty food and not to much high prices, definitely this is it. We have some salad and mix grill, which I recommend to try it. every meat that greece have on every place of vacation. Im not sea food guy, i dont try here. They are low staffed, one girl for everything, but she was very fast and friendly. Five star for her, the owners 4 star for not...

Nice place to sit in and helpful staff but extremely expensive for a pita gyros or a crepe. Tiny portions which they were overpriced ,taking advantage of the millions of younger ages who are visiting this area. I don't understand why greece has become so expensive the last years....Greek people can't afford it already and now the tourists ...why would I pay for a kid's size gyros pita 4.50??...
