Ftenagia Beach Restaurant — Restaurant in Municipality of Chalki

Came here accidentally as I wandered the townlet of Halki as I was sick and tired of tourist traps that usually crowd the marinas. Being quite hungry I ordered a pork steak - and did not regret it in the slightest! Juicy and perfectly seasoned meat made me stay for a (small) bottle of retsina at the seashore and the supper. Every meal comes with fresh Greek bread (the nice fluffy one with corn flour) regardless of the sidings. The prices are very fair and the service pleasant and unimposing. Combined with a nice, almost private beach the place makes a perfect destination for a one full day stay in Halki.

Ftegania Restaurant is a little dreamboat of a taverna. Perched above the gorgeous Ftegania beach, surrounded by trees and gardens - it’s the perfect place to spend a day on Chalki. Good coffee, orange juice, brunch, lunch & early dinners are served 9am - 6pm. The staff are friendly & from the taverna you can eat, drink & spend the day swimming & resting. Beautiful picturesque taverna right on the stunning beach of Ftenagia, which is a gentle walk from the village.
