Food seems generally very good and prices are decent for such a location. All appetizers and main dishes we tried were great and we would order them again. Service is also good, but depending on how busy they are, it may get bit slower than expected. Two stars instead of five because of the observed 'autism' with respect to smoking rules. The tables area is split into two, practically isolated sections, one of which is for smokers and the other is not. However my experience is that they are equally welcoming to smokers and non-smokers in the non-smoking part. I witnessed people smoking in several tables around ours in the non-smoking area. Visiting Chalkida we were recommended by several locals to eat at Spitiko Edesma. Wow, it’s is located on the beautiful waterfront of Chalkida overlooking the bridge and the many boats and yachts. We were greeted by the friendly staff who spoke English and recommended several local dishes to try. The menu is impressive with with fresh fish and seafood caught by local fishermen. They also have a wonderful selection of grilled meats to choose from. We wanted to try everything so we ordered a grilled variety meat platter and some shrimp pasta and grilled kalamari. We were a large party of 17 (restaurant was able to accommodate us) and decided to have an early (for Greece) lunch at To Spitiko. First, the view is awesome, just a stone's throw away from the water. You can't go wrong with the location.

Most important, the food was awesome. The meze were delicious. We ordered plates to share. Highly recommend the salads, chicken dishes, octopus in wine sauce, fresh fish, you can't go wrong. They also have a great selection of tsiporo, which was very important for our crew. Highly recommend this restaurant if you are in the area.
