Traditional Greek Taverna Thanasis — Restaurant in Municipality of Chania

I visited Greece for the first time a couple of months ago, and this restaurant happend to be the first on my Holliday as well. The food was delicious and the portions were great, the view beautiful, and the service just perfect. Everybody working there had a smile on their face and an amazing attitude. The staff were very generous, we got raki and a delicious dessert on the house. I even made friend with one of the staff, he showed us the island and invited us to a club, we are still in touch today. We ate a couple more times at the restaurant and were never disappointed. Very beautiful taverna at the sea with the best greek food. It is a very new taverna butcwe recognized the owner from his previous amazing taverna in stavros, which closed during corona and we have missed for 4 years now! We were so happy to see them again. The owner and all the staff were very nice.

The food is amazing, there is very good meat and seafood as well as vegetarian options. There is a beautiful view on the bay.
