Asterias Seaside Experience — Restaurant in Municipality of Eastern Samos

For the first time we ran off a place because of discomfort ! Why ? Here is why : It is called “ Beach ….. “ but there are no changing rooms / cabins etc . You have to get changed in the toilet ! The beds are comfortable and big but umbrellas are too small to cover both so one of you will stay in the sun ! They charge 20 euros for a set , 25 euros if it is closer to the sea (?) There is a menu at the beach , 2 meters behind they have the restaurant and all the snacks , foods are coming from that restaurant BUT ; you can not eat the food in the beach menu at the restaurant (?) If you want to eat at the restaurant you have to order from that menu ! Menus are smillar but actually beach menu is wider in choice , but you have to eat the same pizza on your sun bed if you order it from beach menu (?) There is a DJ playing all the time , speakers are everywhere , music is loud and makes it impossible to relax / sleep / etc . When we arrived it was early but they said we needed reservation , then they managed to arrange a place for us . The sea is nice BUT impossible to swim , you know why ? Because there was something that was biting everyone swimming ! Nobody could understand what it was but we ended up finding out they were some kind of “sea bugs” . People were going in the water , maximum 5 minutes they were out ! Prices are high compare to Samos average , food quality not bad but small details like draft beer not being cold , tiny ketch up bags being empty but still being served on the table are making it unpleasant . After a while the music went so disturbing that we chose to leave ! There was no point anyway unless...

I’ve tried many beach restaurants in Samos, but Asterias is by far the best. I ended up spending three consecutive days here without even thinking of going anywhere else. The place is spotless, the staff is incredibly attentive, and every detail is thoughtfully taken care of. One of the biggest highlights of my holiday was, without a doubt, the food. The chef is truly amazing—I’m not exaggerating, the dishes were outstanding. I even had breakfast here three days in a row because everything was so delicious and beautifully presented. If you’re visiting Samos, you absolutely must stop by Asterias. You’ll understand exactly what I mean once you experience it yourself. I’m already looking forward to coming back, spending time at this beach, and enjoying more of the chef’s...

We ordered a half-portion of pasta for our child. The dish was so salty that it was inedible. After that, we ordered more drinks. We had to ask three waiters about the drinks because they didn't arrive. Finally, the drinks came when we had already finished eating. When the bill arrived, the children's portion was charged at the full adult price. The waiter said the price is the same even for a half-portion. I refused to pay, and in the end, we got the portion for free. Very poor service and overly salty food. However, the other dishes were tasty. If the restaurant wants to present itself as having good service, it needs to acknowledge and correct...
